This late 19th century sterling silver bar pin features suspended medallions of classical profiles and other similar elements, exemplifying the iconic design of George W. Shiebler of New York. This piece was part of Shiebler's Etruscan or Homeric line. It has a secure modified C-clasp on the back as well as the maker’s mark of a winged S, and a design number of 590. It is also marked sterling. The pin measures 3 inches wide by a little over 1 1/2 inches at its longest drop. Weight: 20.9 grams

A wonderful pair of Modernist sterling silver cufflinks from Taxco, the center of Mexican silver jewelry production in the 20th century. The design is strongly geometric, but has an organic quality as well--almost like a leaf shape. The interiors are nicely oxidized to contrast with the appliqued silver spheres. The backs are hallmarked with the "3M" mark attributed to Miguel Melendez' output from the late 1950s and early 1960s...

A classic French Art Nouveau 18K gold brooch featuring a young woman with naught but a sprig of flowers covering her breasts set against a poppy blossom. A swallow appears over her shoulder. A late Victorian or Edwardian 14K yellow gold flower style diamond ring c1900-10. This size 5-1/4 or 5.25 ring has a 15 point (by gauge) genuine diamond mounted with large claws. The diamond measures 3 mm. across, and the top of the ring is 3/16" across. The diamond is clear and clean, no visible inclusions under a 10X loupe, and this ring weighs 2.2 grams. The mark has been obscured due to sizing, but the gold content and diamond have been tested and are guaranteed...

Picture in the book Silver Seductions is a version of this fantastic Antonio Pineda Silver and Amethyst Bracelet. It features heavy open work links inset with marquise cut stones. It measures 7" long by 1" wide and weighs 86.5 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, 970, Sterling Mexico and the eagle stamp 17. With a box clasp and attached safety chain, it is in good condition with only age related wear and tarnish. The amethyst stones have the typical inclusions...

A particularly nice Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of a floral spray. The strap-like leaves are worked in shaded green enamels, and the flowers are made from freshwater "dogtooth" pearls centered with old mine cut diamonds. The pearls have particularly attractive silvery luster and their irregular shapes beautifully mimic the frilly edges of flower petals. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp. Unusual and lovely signed early 1960's amethysts, silver, and enamel butterfly necklace. Beautiful golden brown, white, yellow,& turquoise blue enamel butterfly with 2 oval cabochon amethysts on a light blue enamel background. This is constructed on heavy gauge silver and the back is royal blue, golden brown and black enamel. The scalloped silver sides provide a frame for the work and it measures a generous 1 7/8" in diameter...

This Native American ring measures 1 1/4" x 5/8". It is oval shaped and slightly convex. The center is adorned with sawtooth, bezel-set stones within a raised oval. It is a size 6.5. It is in excellent condition.

Early hand made eye/eyelash sterling and matrix turquoise earrings by famous modernist Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1955. Each matrix turquoise comes from a different mine - one is greenish turquoise with black material (right) and the other is blue turquoise with brown(left) material. Obviously hand made, with each earring charmingly differently shaped than the other. They each measure approx. 1 1/8" long by 3/4"-1" wide. Each is signed STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer) and are in excellent condition....
