This maple leave pin consists of plique a jour enamel in a sterling silver setting. This lovely pin is highlighted with paste accent stones along the main leaf veins. A very fine, large vintage silver knifewing pin with multi stone inlay of spiny oyster, turquoise, jet and mother of pearl, circa 1940. Knifewing represents the Zuni god of war. It is always exciting when I stumble upon a Mexican chain necklace made of polished, tumbled hard-stones caged in sterling silver.
