A vintage Mexican silver and amethyst large brooch reminiscent of the work of Antonio Pineda and Hubert Harmon. Has a large carved amethyst stone as the face and amethyst cabochons at the end of each earring.

Signed Mexico Silver in an oval. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949). Measures 2 1/2" across and 4 3/4" high.

The silver repousse work is in fine condition. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish...

This is typical fine work by Hobe. The leaves and bow are layered. The roses go a step further by having individual petals wrap to form a circle just as real roses do. The semi-triangular plaque with the rectangular bottom marked Hobe, sterling, 1/20 14k, indicates that this brooch is lovely older Hobe dating between 1918 and 1932. 3" long.1 1/2" wide. 1/2" deep.

Measures 7 1/2" long and 1/4" at the widest. Has a locking clasp that holds securely. Light texture for an interesting effect. Links are curved so lays nicely on the wrist.

Fine Victorian 18K rose gold stick pin. The thre-dimensional pin is in the form of a horse's saddle. A bit of the blanket peeks out from underneath and is bordered in rose-cut diamonds. The pin is very nicely detailed. Tested and guaranteed 18K gold.

Figural sterling letter opener, by George Shiebler, Brooklyn,NY, c.1895. Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. The design goes all the way around including the narrow edges. It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE UB" and is in very good condition...

A 12k rose gold shell cameo brooch pendant circa 1870-80. This 1-1/2 x 1-1/4" pin pendant features a maiden carved out of a yellowish-grey shell; it is bezel-mounted in the gold setting (unmarked but tested (both 12k and 15k gold were used as part of the United Kingdom gold standard until 1932). The setting has a gate-latch clasp and a fully swivelling folding loop for wear as a pendant...

Circa 1950s sterling and amethyst bracelet by important mid 20th Century American silversmith Ed Levin. The thick solid sterling wire each terminates in a flattened, flared shape, each holding a single purple amethyst cabochon.

Signed with the early "Levin, Sterling" mark, indicating that this is a mid 20th Century piece. It currently measures approx. 3" x 2.5", but is adjustable. The top portion is 1.5" wide. Excellent vintage condition...

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a baroque pearl by Sigi Pineda. Design number 81. Measures 3" long and 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches. There is a place on the front edge where you can feel the hallmark stamp from the back. It was stamped too close to the edge. Not really noticeable, but wanted to call it...

A beauty from the past is this Art Nouveau 14Kt yellow gold bar pin. The pin is decorated by 3 multi colored enameled leaves and 4 2.5 mm oriental seed pearls. The length of the pin is 33 millimeters and the width is 6 millimeters.

Composed of gilded sterling, this delicate necklace features four-lobed stylized florals in white enamel, with translucent enameled centers imitiating half-pearls. It is marked with the David-Andersen scales, and the designer’s mark of Willy Winnaess. Secure, original hardware on both necklace and earrings, which are clip backs. Necklace measures 15 ¼ inches long; earrings are roughly 3/8 inch square. Necklace weight: 27.6 grams
