A classic look from a well-known Italian designer. Made of scored, slightly twisted links, each link bisected by a textured bar. Bracelet has full set of marks, indicating a registration city of Arrezzo, Italy, and .800 silver content. Bracelet measures 9 inches long, including chain; inserting bar clasp into the second-to-last link reduces the length to 8 inches. Weight: 52.3 grams

This pair of delicate earrings has lovely amber circular tops and teardrop pendants. The stones are highly polished and exhibit an inner world of mineral and plant particles, especially when the drops are exposed to light. They measure about 1 ¾ inches from top to bottom; the widest area measures ½ inch. They bear their original clip backs that are marked only MET, indicating a non-precious white metal. They are probably European.

This ring features spore-like protrusions and was made most likely in the 1960s or 1970s. It is a very small size, a 3 ¾, and shows minimal signs of having been re-sized, including what looks like a partial mark for silver (it tests for sterling). There is also a hand-engraved maker’s mark of BARZ. The top measures about 5/8 inch wide by ¼ inch high. Weight: 6.4 grams

Ca 1960 There was an original tag now lost that read "Hand Crafted Austrian Brilliants"--this lot includes heavy clip-on pendant earrings that hang 1-1/2" and a brooch that measures 2" round. Two marquise stones (one on an earring, the other on the pin)have been reset but are difficult to identify.

This is a Rafael Dominguez turquoise bracelet made before 1948 and properly hallmarked as shown. The weight is 58 grams heavy and is 1.25in. wide. It is 7in. long. The silver is thick and Dominguez is know for his high quality workmanship. Dominguez is a noted maestro in Penny Morril's books. When you own a Dominguez piece you know you bought the best! The stones are beautiful and have no chips or cracks. The piece looks fantastic with the turquoise drippy necklace also listed on my site.

A superb and evocative 1-5/8 x 1-3/8" mid-Victorian mourning pin in 14k yellow gold (unmarked but tested). This pin features a carved pink coral hand with black enamel bands on its sleeve, holding a wreath of flowers and leaves. There are seed pearls in the flower centers and there is a claw-set pearl in the center. It has a reeded edge and a c-clasp which has been added a bit later for wear as a brooch; originally it would have been a pendant and a small loop remains at the top...

A classic looking bracelet, composed of a thick cuban link chain with a clasp formed as a belt with a buckle. The belt has two holes, and can be adjusted for a larger wrist, but looks best and is most secure when fastened at the smaller size. The belt end is secured by a hinged bar representing the belt loop. Accounting for the best fit, the bracelet length is about 7 ¼ inches; it is ½ inch wide at the buckle...

This pair of nicely molded cuff links feature bold ray-like ridges on the oval sides and vertical ridges on the narrow sides, all enhanced with dark oxidation. They are European made, and marked for .835 silver; the country mark is hard to distinguish and the maker’s mark looks like a TK or KT. Hinges and joints are in very good condition; the main design has lots of movement and is very dramatic. Dating is probably the 1930s. The larger buttons measure ¾ inch by ½ inch...

This 1960s necklace features narrow, vertical panels of graduated length with a textured surface decorated with pink and yellow gilding; the edges show a bit of darker oxidation. Competently constructed and designed to sit flat and move gracefully when worn; all panels are in place and show no signs of wear. The box clasp, which has a figure-eight safety catch, is marked Italy, with possible maker’s initials of FGS; they overlay the mark for .925 (sterling) silver...

This stunning and very long gun metal chain is decorated with faux pearls and metal balls interspersed with elongated open links. The chain ends in a 3-inch drop composed of alternating metal balls and elongated links with a working swivel clasp. It dates to the late 19th-early 20th century, with a darkened finish from the process of electroplating a layer of iron on the base metal.The chain measures about 30 ¾ inches long, doubled, including the drop at the end.

This whimsical midcentury sterling silver bracelet features large, novelty charms on a thick chain, all marked Mexico; it was probably made for the tourist trade. The charms consist of a ewer, a replica of an Aztec calendar stone, a bell, what looks to be a cooking utensil or pot, a sandal, a sombrero and a jug. All show very little wear. Made of interlocking solid box links, this sterling silver chain has a sturdy feel and appears to have been hand-assembled. It has a novel W-shaped clasp. An Art Deco 14k white gold amethyst ring from about 1920. This size 5 oval solitaire ring measures 5/8" x 1/2" across the top and it weighs 4.2 grams. It is stamped 14 K with an arrow maker's mark. The amethyst is a genuine natural stone, is approximately 4 carats in size (estimated in setting by gauge). The elegant scroll and engraving owes as much to the ornate style of the Edwardian period...

Vintage sterling silver and copper pin or brooch designed and signed (1940's) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Pin measures 3 3/8" across. Five large cabochons with pink banding are set in sterling silver frames that are deeply oxidized and embossed with a ridged design. They are linked by oblong rings that are similarly decorated. Amazing pendant / brooch by Michigan silversmith John Pagacz, circa 1950s. In sterling silver with three cultured pearls. The two darkened areas in the center are recessed, oxidized to create the patina, and hand detailed with a pattern. The workmanship in Pagacz's work is truly amazing. Unsigned. Has both a loop for a chain, and a pin mechanism so that the piece can be worn as a brooch. Measures a large 2.25" x 1.5. Excellent vintage conditon.

Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.

Are you bold enough for this ring, with it's huge, sparkling grey druzy stone? The crystal measures approximately 1.5" when measured from its longest point. The back is marked BETO TAXCO 925 (and something else I cannot make out), and, STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
