Scary large scorpion aluminum pin made in Germany, c.1970's. Measuring 3 1/4" long by 2 3/8" wide, it is very good condition but has some wear scratches. Very exciting!

A late Victorian 48" fine link gold filled watch chain with a swivel and an unmarked 3/8" slide with seed pearl which tests as 12k gold (12k gold was produced in the UK until 1932). The swivel is stamped J LYNN & CO, and this c1890-1900 chain is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Here is an English-made whistle of copper-plated brass and base metal, that may have been made for the U.S. market. The front is labeled ‘The Acme/Boy Scouts’ with the English registration number for 1914, and ‘Patent’ underneath. The whistle itself measures a little under 3 inches long; the bale adds another 3/4 inch. Circumference is about 2 inches. Weight: 25.8 grams

Aluminum thunderbird bolo made in Germany, c.1970's. Bolo has a leather thong with aluminum tips and is in excellent condition. It measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/4" wide. Great looking southwestern theme.

Fabulous bauhaus design modernist rhodocrosite and sterling ring, c.1960's. The band is an integral part of the design and it is signed "STERLING SILVER". The rings is size 7 3/4 and is in excellent condition with some wear around the edge of the stone due to the age. The stone itself is 13/16" in diameter and the ring stands 1/2" high. This 3-piece set is a rare find. It is by Hermann Siersbol, of Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1950's-1960's. The brooch and earrings display a convex modernist starburst motif: (a spiderweb, foil look), with points and textured silverwork. The brooch comes to a head, with turquoise and lapis stones / beads and is marked 925S HS. The earrings are clipbacks, with a central lapis stone / bead and are marked 925S HS and STERLING. This suite is circa 1950s-1960s...

An irregular shaped piece of amber is mounted in a handmade bezel. The mounting is decorated with hand-applied silver biomorphic protrusions. The bailbears the Krakow mark for .916 silver, with an additional mark indicating added metal, although all of the metal tests as silver. The pendant measures 2 ½ inches long, including the bail and jump ring, and 1 3/8 inches wide.

Red enamel on silver links modernist bracelet, c.1950's. Eight links each of different shades of spotted red enamel make up the design. Each link measures 5/8" square. This 1960s necklace features narrow, vertical panels of graduated length with a textured surface decorated with pink and yellow gilding; the edges show a bit of darker oxidation. Competently constructed and designed to sit flat and move gracefully when worn; all panels are in place and show no signs of wear. The box clasp, which has a figure-eight safety catch, is marked Italy, with possible maker’s initials of FGS; they overlay the mark for .925 (sterling) silver...

Victorian 14K Gold Fleur-De-Lys Stick Pin with a full cut prong set diamond in center, circa 1900. Pin and top test 14K but not marked. The top with applied matte gold front measures 1/2" in diameter and the pin is 2 5/8" long. Excellent condition;

A 14k yellow gold asteroid pearl and diamond stickpin or tie or cravat pin circa 1890. This 2-1/4" long pin has a 5/8" x 1/4" top with a claw-set natural 3 mm. pearl and a claw-set genuine round antique cut diamond. This pin shows both the fascination at the time with the solar system, many stickpins had moon, stars and planets at the time, and the shooting star had romantic connotations as well, which made it a suitable sweetheart or engagement gift...

A 9k blue topaz Edwardian rose gold bar pin from the 1910 era. This lovely 1-13/16" brooch features a cornflower blue topaz (tested) and it has a safety pin style clasp and a loop for a safety chain (not present). It is stamped 9Ct and the style is early Deco in feel. It weighs 1.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This beautiful pendant has a cool design. It features a bezel-set Eilat gemstone. The top disk has a diameter of 1 1/8". The colorful stone has a diameter of 3/4". Next, there dangles 3 convex disks suspending (left to right) 2 1/2", 3", 2 1/2". This piece is in excellent condition.

This pretty stickpin is made of (stamped) 14kt white gold and is set with an unidentified colorless gemstone - not diamond or one of the common substitutes for diamond. Not glass or plastic - it's a real stone. Also a real mystery. Whatever it is, it's a perfect complement to the setting. There is an illegible maker's mark. Overall length is 2 3/8" and it’s C. 1915. (Stick pins are pins similar to small dressmaker pins, except that they are longer and often have quite ornamental tops to them...
