With their centers of crossed silver wire, these 1920s cuff links have the look of stitched buttons. They feature mother-of-pearl discs with black enamel dotted borders. They bear European silver marks on the back, and though they are hard to make out, they likely indicate .800 silver. Each button measures ½ inch in diameter; they have sturdy bridge chains. A 14k yellow gold ring with a flashy pear-cut synthetic alexandrite stone. This size 7 ring measures 5/8" x 7/16" across the top/stone setting alone, which holds the claw-set stone. Quite an unusual statement ring is this 14Kt yellow gold enamel and ruby snake ring centered by a 5 millimeter faceted natural ruby. The approximate weight of the ruby is 0.50 Ct. The ring is a size 4 and it can easily be sized.
A lovely, medium-size Art Nouveau enameled 14K gold pin in the form of a violet. Each of the petals is beautifully decorated in shaded translucent enamels in tones of violet and yellowish-cream. The translucency and high gloss of the enamel create a tremendous sense of depth in the design. An attractive pair of mid-20th century cufflinks the faces designed as clusters of baroque freshwater pearls overlaid with gold bands centering rows of round brilliant cut diamonds. The pearls have lustrous surfaces, but their craggy shapes give them a more masculine appeal. Circa mid-century, this is a fabulous necklace and a real attention grabber. Measuring 4 3/4" wide at the top of the centerpiece, 2 5/8" wide at the bottom, it's a huge piece which lays beautifully upon the neck and frames it perfectly. The repoussé panels have silver domes graduating in size. Recesses are oxidized.
