This pendant measures 1 3/4" x 1" (x 3/8"). It is an textured, oxidized, silver plaque, surmounted by silver, textured, biomorphic portion. It is circa 1960's and in excellent condition. It also has good heft.

This is truly an interesting and unique piece. The pendant / medallion is 2-sided. It depicts the 12 symbols of the Zodiac on the front. The center has a scroll that reads "LUCK" and/or "GOOD FORTUNE) in Hebrew (MAZEL). It has a diameter of 1 1/2". The chain is 24 1/2" long. The back displays the Zodiac names, dates and meanings of the symbols. This piece is gold tone. The front is in excellent condition. The back words and numbers are a bit blurred, due to age (see pictures)...

These beautiful, sterling silver earrings have a classic Mexican, 1940's design. They are screwbacks, and measure 1" x 1" x 1". The central stones are bezel-set: green chalcedony / jade. Each earring's back is marked HECHO EN MEXICO D.F. 925, with a maker's mark of JP inside a rectangle. The D.F. stands for Distrito Federal: made in Mexico City.

Wide copper band is decorated with an applied brass monkey figure inspired by a Precolumbian motif (see the last photo). It is inset with small pieces of abalone. On one side is a discolored area, of about ½ inch square, left from an old label. As the discoloration is on the side, it is not obvious when the cuff is worn. The bracelet measures 2 ½ inches at its widest part and 2 ½ inches across the opening. It has a 7 ½-inch internal circumference.

This great ring is a size 6. It measures 1 1/4" long. It has wonderful Navajo detail with a central sawtooth, bezel-set turquoise cabochon. The back is marked STERLING and artist signed RB. It is in excellent condition.

These, silver, earrings have a leafy, foliate design. They measure 7/8" x 5/8". They are by Danish silversmith John Lauritzen, (JOHN L), who worked during the 1950s. His pieces seem to be hard to come by. They are marked JOHN L 830S DENMARK. They are in excellent condition.

These earrings feature simple, classic geometrical designs enhanced with oxidation that is reminiscent of Southwest design. The earrings are not marked, but test for sterling silver; the screw backs are marked sterling. The surface exhibits a warm, aged patina. Each earring drops about 2 inches and each hoop measures 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 10.5 grams total

This triangular pin features a cabochon pink quartz set in a recessed bezel mount. It bears the mark of Danish maker N.E. From and the sterling mark. Deep patination on the front enhances the stone. The rollover clasp is very secure. The pin has a small nick to the edge on the back, shown in the detail photo; it is not viewable from the front. Each side of the pin measures 1 ½ inches long.

This charming sterling silver bracelet is handmade, composed of coiled wire rosettes alternating with rectangular panel links. It is sturdily made despite its delicate look and bears the mark of Just Andersen of Copenhagen (who stopped working in 1973). Its secure hook closure features an additional safety clasp. The back of the clasp exhibits the maker's mark as well as marks for sterling silver, Denmark, and the design number of 141...

These earrings are unique as they are Taxco Mexico with a Native American motif. The "top" is convex with a diameter of 1". The 3 dangling leaves measure 1 1/2". They are marked 925 TS-14 MEXICO. They are in excellent condition and have good heft.

Bold pendant earrings with a deeply oxidized design of stylized animal faces. The panels are impressed with the design, and there is a bit of wear to the oxidation, but the effect is still striking. The panels also have a graceful curve, which also enhances the design. There is no maker’s mark; one screw back shows a mark of 980 Taxco, the other, sterling/Taxco/Mexico. The entire length of the earring, including the rounded top, is a little over 2 inches. Weight: 13.5 grams

Designed by Karin Pedersen for JemAx of Denmark, this sterling silver vermeil and white enamel brooch is such a great example of Scandinavian minimalist / modernist design from the 1960s and 1970s. I love the pearlescence of the white here and the way its translucence brings out the guilloche motifs in the silver underneath. White is a gorgeous color in Scandinavian enamelwork and it pairs perfectly with darker, more subdued hue time and loving use has bestowed to the vermeil finish...

Here is a sterling silver pin of signature design by the Danish maker Niels Erik From. It is composed of stylized rounded leaves and berries on a stem, enhanced by applied patination, and is secured by a rollover safety clasp. The maker’s mark is impressed on the back. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Here is a mid-20th century handmade ring of two types of wood mounted in a sterling silver frame. The wood is carved into small squares. The rectangular top is soldered to a sterling band and rises about 1/2 inch from the finger. The ring is unmarked, but tests for sterling. The top of the ring measures 3/4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ring is sized to a 7.

Large asymmetrical boomerang design modernist walnut wood and aluminum pin, c.1950's. To make the design interesting one side is longer than the other. Hand made, it measures 2 1/2" by 2". Unsigned. This delicate pin has a branch-like design formed by lost-wax casting, with a textured surface and applied beads. The oxidized and textured surface has a Brutalist feel. It is marked sterling, with what appears to be a maker’s mark of AR in an oval reserve. The pin has a secure rollover clasp, and measures 2 ¼ inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide. Weight: 8.2 grams

Here is a beautiful early pin by Danecraft. It has a diameter of 1 1/2". It has an open circle, decorative border, surmounted by a lovely, single flower with repousse leaves and petals. The back is marked DANECRAFT REG. U.S. PAT. OFF STERLING. Unlike later pieces, this very well crafted older piece has decent weight to it. It's in excellent condition.

A vintage 1930s triple strand graduated gold plated brass ball necklace. Renoir of California had an affinity for primitive art, and the design of this bracelet is a good example of that inspiration. Part of the company’s Matisse line of enameled jewelry, this bracelet features oblong copper panels of two lengths decorated with blue enamel with white specks. The fold-over clasp is marked ‘Matisse’ on the top. There are some minor edge chips in the enamel on the back. It measures about 7 inches long by 1 1/4 inches at its widest point.

Composed of eight vertical panels connected by brass circular links, this bracelet is enameled with large gold dots on a white background. The reverse features gold venous enameling on black. There are no chips or cracks to the enamel; there is no signature, but the bracelet appears to be professionally made, similar to a Kay Denning piece. The fold-over clasp is secure and made of a yellow metal. Connecting links are strong but not soldered...

This wonderful choker measures 16" long. It consists of large beads, alternating white, pearlized and light purple and lavender. It is adjustable with a hook clasp marked GERMANY. It is circa 1940s - 1950s. It is in excellent condition.

This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. The original C-clasp has been expertly replaced; the piece retains its original pin stem. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the center.

This large deep blue lapis stone is enhance with the gold speckles running diagonally across its center. The irregular form is set in a copper frame with leaves and scrolls to add interest. The pendant is a vintage delight, versatile, and bold.

Condition is very good to excellent with minor oxidation on the top loop.

This cool pendant / medallion has a great modernist design. It is a concave and convex disk with a radius of 2 inches. It hangs 13" from a link chain. The back is marked PEWTER Jorgen Jensen (in his script hallmark) HANDMADE DENMARK 158. Like all Jorgen Jensen pieces it displays the modernist style. It is in excellent condition.

This emerald green glass bangle started life during the late Qing Dynasty as one of 2 handles on a ladies rank badge embroidered purse... The other handle was broken which rendered the purse unusable...and the embroidery was sold separately... Bangle measures interior diameter 2.75 inches so...it will fit a large hand/wrist...

This ring is a size 11 1/2 (can be resized, of course). It has a cool design, almost foil-like (see pictures). It's just over 1/2" at its highest. It is marked 925. It's a wonderful piece in excellent condition.

A fine modernist design 835 silver and rutilated quartz brooch made by Kordes & Lichtenfels of Pforzheim Germany circa 1950s 1960. This abstract 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" pin is signed 835 and K&L and it also has the three crown Swedish silver mark, so this piece was imported into Sweden originally to be sold. A Modern style sterling necklace and matching earrings set with navy blue cabochon glass stones. This cool set consists of the 17-1/4" necklace with a 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" central drop and a herringbone style chain with a springring clasp, plus the 1-1/8" x 5/8" pierced earrings. Formed as fish skeletons, they are nicely made, with working screw backs that are marked sterling. The backs of the fish are also marked sterling, along with a partial mark that ends with the word ‘Silversmith.’ Please note that some of the pictures show the surface with a yellow cast; the truest color of the silver is in the last two photos. This lovely pair of art deco cuff links has a formal look, the result of a black mother-of-pearl background. Each eight-sided button is framed by an embossed white metal rim; the centers are set with tiny faux seed pearls. The backs and bridges are gilded, and bear the block-letter mark for Krementz, of Newark, NJ. Each button measures 1/2 inch wide.

This huge sterling silver ring has a great design. The stone is colorful, with a mixture of greens, blacks, browns and more. It is bezel-set in a Mexican or Native American type setting.
