An elegant large-scale 18K gold hinged bangle bracelet with repousse floral decoration by Charles Armsheimer & Son. The design is so expertly worked that the hinge is nearly invisible when the bracelet is being worn. Armsheimer’s workshop was located on Maiden Lane, the heart of New York’s jewelry industry in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The tongue of the clasp is stamped “18K” and also has the maker’s mark for Charles Armsheimer & Son.

Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. An elegant bracelet composed of open links ornately decorated in a pattern of acanthus leaves alternating with blue sapphire oval cabochons. The sapphires do not show indication of heat treatment. Each link is slightly curved, so the bracelet lies nicely on the wrist. The clasp is masterfully constructed to be invisible once closed. Like most Portuguese gold jewelry of the era, it’s quite heavy for its size. The bracelet is stamped with 19.2K gold marks used in the city of Oporto, 1887-1937.

A rare sterling silver bracelet with teardrop shaped bezel set amethyst cabochons from the workshops of Antonio Pineda in Taxco. In this version, the amethyst is completely encased in a sterling outer teardrop.

The bracelet measures 7 1/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a secure box clasp. Marked with a partial Pineda Crown. Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with no chips or roughness. They have natural inclusions.

The brooch measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high.

Marked on the back with this firm's triangular cypher. It is in fine condition with verdigris in the recesses. It has a secure 'C' clasp.

A long sterling silver modernist pendant by Tane, Mexico with the 26" original chain. Tane was known as 'The Tiffany of Mexico.'

This pendant measures 4" long and 2 1/4" at the widest. Marked TANE, Sterling, Mexico and with an 'A' inside a triangle, probably for the silversmith.

The chain has Tane's unusual interlocking clasp which holds securely.

The pendant has some surface scratches, tarnish and shows some wear. Weighs 50gr.
