A complete set, a parure, of pendant, earrings and brooch made of silver with marcasites and gold trimmings. All parts with little scenes in gold of grazing deer, the gold having been cut out and soldered onto the silver underneath. Made around 1910-20, probably in South Germany or Austria. All marcasites except those of the pendant are set with prongs. The gold content is over 10 carats and the silver which is unmarked except for the earrings (marked Sterling 925) exceeds 900/1000...

A brutalist, hand wrought, modernist sterling silver pendant in a design resembling a boulder.

Measures about 2 3/4" long including the bale and 3/4" at the widest. Large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Can be worn with the hook from the bale facing the front or back.

Has some scuffs and a little tarnish. Adds to the brutalist nature of the piece so not sure if some of it is original.

A stunning late Victorian or Edwardian reverse carved crystal depicting a collie dog. The crystal is set in an alternating border of French cut rubies and rose cut diamonds. This unique and rare Bracelet by Hector Aguilar is featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 40, plateI-55 and is known as the "Chain with Dome" bracelet. Measures 8 1/2" long with the chain portion measuring 3/4" wide. The dome section functions as the clasp and measures 1 1/4" wide. Hallmarked with the joined HA, Made in Mexico, Sterling. Very nice condition with no damage noted. An wonderful bracelet by this important Taxco master.

This unique piece of jewelry dates back to the 1940's or early 1950's. The top is a pink and yellow gold geometric design broach that holds the rectangular watch. The watch has a pink face and marked "BLACK STARR & GORHAM". The movement is a 17 jewel GIRARD PERREGAUX. The watch is in working condition. Total weight of the watch with the movement is 9.4 grams. The safety clasp on the pin and the inside of the watch case are both marked 14Kt.

This Scottish agate pin is in the shape of a dagger. The Victorians called them dirks. It is hallmarked sterling.

A vintage 10k yellow gold ring c1970, with seven genuine round cut diamonds set between flat bars or channels. This size 5-3/4 ring measures 3/4" across the diamonds and 1/8" wide. It weighs 2.0 grams and it is stamped 10K and JSN. This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Circa 1940's, this large brooch is said to be named after Spratling's parrot "Lorenzo". It's a huge and spectacular pin, measuring 4 1/2" tall and 1 3/16" wide, with a weight of 49.4 grams.

This left facing parrot has a 1 1/2" long amethyst body and exquisite repoussé silver work. Pin closes with a roller. All original and collector quality.

Striking sterling silver, moonstone & pearl bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's my Taxco, Mexico modernist designer Antonio Pineda(1919-09). A 19th century Scottish sterling silver banded agate pebble buckle brooch pin. From the early to mid-Victorian era, this large and dramatic pin measures 2-7/8 x 2-1/2". It has wonderfully striped and figured grey and white banded agate fitted stones with silver dividers and it has finely hand engraved and tooled decoration including a buckle, inner edge, decorated outer rim and an engraved pierced silver top. A rare pair of 18K yellow gold earclips in the Sputnik style. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, and green and pink tourmalines. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from the mines of Stern's native Brazil. Exceedingly difficult to find (I will not say "almost impossible" because I am an optimist at heart!) these Mexican Deco silver repousse hinged bracelets with rows of stone cabochons come in all widths and material combinations. In my experience, the ones with turquoise tend to be the most sought after but amethyst is also popular and I have had examples with black onyx and even colored glass before...

Great statement vintage 1970s Etruscan style necklace with faux ivory resin beads and heavy cast goldtone mountings, with a large pendant with lion heads and bead drops. Not signed but the style and quality of Les Bernard and KJL jewelry. Spring ring clasp. 24 1/2 inches wearable length and the center drops 4 1/2 inches. I love to find these rare pieces made by unknown makers. This one is exceptional. The size of the center link is 2.5 inches. There is a wearable length of 19 inches. All other links and earrings are 1.5 inches long. No chips or cracks to the stones and no dents to the silver. The lock is hidden under a link showing a well thought out design.
