Gorgeous 1970s vintage six strand torsade necklace with genuine natural undyed angel skin pink salmon coral beads with a goldtone metal box slide clasp with a matching genuine coral cabochon. It weighs 75 grams. The coral beads are 3mm. Wearable length is 27 1/4 inches and the width is about 3/8 inch. Best representation of color is the photos on the mannequin. Excellent condition. This mid-century kinetic design necklace is the work of Erika Hult de Corral.

It's a stunning signature piece which features an extra-long length of 28 1/2". Erika Hult de Corral studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris, later on working with both Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before opening her own shop.

Moon crater balls and long tubes combine on the sides, with a centerpiece which has free swinging pendulums of varying lengths...

This bracelet is quite sought after. It is the Silpada sterling silver "Cha Cha" Toggle bracelet. It measures 7 1/2" long. It's marked 925 and stamped with the Silpada maker's mark. It's in excellent condition.

This great, puffer fish / blow fish pendant can also be worn as a charm. It measures 1 1/8" from mouth to tail and is 3/4" "tall." It has blue rhinestone eyes and a wonderful, Mexican design. The tail is marked MEXICO 925, below initials that looks like CRL - ( all marks are slightly unstamped--see pictures). It is in excellent condition.

A nicely made open heart shaped 10k white gold and diamonds pendant necklace circa 1970s. The heart pendant measures 3/4 x 1/2", it has three single point diamonds and this necklace weighs 1.6 grams. The white gold chain is very fine and both the pendant and chain are stamped 10K. Great something old bride necklace or a valentine or birthday gift...

One of the most successful duo in Taxco’s 20th c. Silver Renaissance, Cecilia and Tono excelled in some of the most difficult techniques in jewelry making like piedra negra, metales casados and mozaico Azteca. Their jewelry is usually modernist yet their designs unfailingly reference Mexico’s rich archeological heritage...

Slender, elongated, hand-wrought fine silver feathers that end in a playful curl make up this set of "swan wing" modernist earrings by Antonio Pineda. I have to admit that this is one of the most unexpected Antonio creations I have ever encountered. When I first saw it, I thought that the clip-ons would have to surely be a later replacement yet I have since seen a similar pair and that one too had the same findings. Now these are earrings for those not afraid to .....

One of my favorite female designers of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance (and admittedly, they aren't so many to begin with), Carmen Beckmann was a rather flexible maestra, able to create in many different styles. using a variety of materials. Her jewelry can be massive and jaw-dropping but quite as easily delicate and more sophisticated...

A classic pair of heavy 18K yellow gold earrings by Gucci. The earrings are in a triangular shape with gently rounded corners and are worked in an open basketweave pattern. The design incorporates both matte and polished surfaces to create a greater sense of depth. The earrings retain their original Omega clips, but the posts could easily be removed for wear as earclips. Each earring is marked 18K and is signed “Gucci”.

This is a very fine emerald and diamond 14k yellow gold ring, centering one rectangular-shape emerald, measuring approximately 8.67 x 6.66 x 3.70mm, weighing 1.70cts. approx, accented by six baguette cut diamonds, weighing a total of 0.52ct approx. Excellent condition.

A vintage 18K yellow gold figa (also "mano fico") charm or pendant. The figa is considered a weapon against the "evil eye" and a protector of creative forces, including the womb. The form itself is derived from ancient representations of female genitalia. The wrist has a traditional flowered cuff.

An amazing sterling and fire opals bracelet by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. The stones are varied and vibrant in color and are all in beautiful condition. Beckmann is one of the few well known women Mexican silversmiths of her time, active primarily in the 60's and 70's and having a shop in San Miguel de Allende. Measuring 8" end to end, this bracelet is 7/8" wide and weighs 103 grams. No condition issues, secure push in clasp. Signed as shown. A rare and spectacular Beckmann piece.

A lovely 18K yellow and white gold, ruby and enamel love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out Plus qu’hier, moins que demain,” (“More than yesterday, less than tomorrow.”) a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano”) in 1889. The word “plus” is symbolized by a plus sign in white gold and the word “moins” by a minus sign set with rectangular cut synthetic rubies...

A substantial sterling silver pendant and chain by the noted Peruvian silversmith, Graziella Laffi.

Signed G. Laffi Peru and 925. Depicts the Inca God Virococha wearing his sun crown and holding his thunderbolts.

These Mod earrings dangle 1 3/4". They are 3/4" at their widest. The eyes are translucent: a dark purple. They are in great condition.

Fortuno Mota, a talented Taxco maestro who in the 1950s and 1960s produced many of Antonio Pineda’s pieces, signs this stunning set of modernist dangle earrings. Crafted in Antonio’s signature fine .970 alloy, the pair reminds me of slender flutes as they elegantly hang off geometric stations with stone inlay. The inlay and the beads in which the dangles end seem to be made of azur-malachite with the second component responsible for the predominantly green and brown hues...
