A lovely and very unusual locket in the Art Nouveau style. A large central crystal is surrounded by whiplash curves of 15K yellow gold studded with variously sized seed pearls and blue sapphires. Double-sided crystal lockets of this sort ("porte-photos") are typically French and are of a much simpler design. The reverse is stamped "15Ct".

Origin: England, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or scratches to crystal. Dimensions: 1-5/8" x 2". Weight: 11.2 grams...

This William Spratling Mexican Silver Bracelet is from his first design period 1931-1946 and consider one of his most iconic designs. It measures 7 1/4" long by 1" wide and weighs 70.6 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked with the WS mono, Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. It is in good vintage condition with some light wear, tarnish, and has developed a lovely patina. Early style pin closure and attached safety chain. A great vintage bracelet for any collector.

Vintage sterling sturdy hefty 36 grams cuff bracelet marked Mexico, initials starting with S"them perhaps an MP. Assay 3 was shared by many well known and well collected Taxco silver makers. See image 2.

This very stylish 18Kt yellow and white gold bow pin was made in Italy in the 1960-s. The two different colors of gold have two different finishes, and the center is accented by three single cut diamonds. The height of the pin is 2 ¼” and the width at the widest part is 2 ¼”.

A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in a sterling silver oyster or floral design signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -70's.

These earrings measure 1" across. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back of each earring. The screw backs are also signed Sterling.

Nice contrast between the textured background and the polished sterling orbs...

Vintage 1970s drop clip earrings in iridescent transparent purple glass mounted in dark brass tone metal. Marked MADE IN FRANCE. The drops have embedded brass wire and hang from fine brass chains. I am also listing a coordinating French glass necklace from the same estate. 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Choice of two modernist cast sterling silver brooches; one in a stylized bird design and the other in a stylized scorpion design with a pearl by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). The 'bird' measures 2" long and 1" across. Has a three dimensional curved design. Interesting contrast of dark textured patina on the sides and polished surfaces on the top...

Brooch and cufflinks, a set of ceramic jewelry, c 1960, by Brondsted /Bröndsted, Denmark, the shade of the glaze an intense red to orange, speckled. Impressed marks. Width of cufflinks "1/ 2.5 cm and of brooch "1 2/3/ 4.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Corpus Artisans Doris Silver was a store where extremely talented maestros worked in the back of her taller. If she liked the pieces that were made she would buy them. The workers rather came and went in between jobs and such. Chato Castillo being one. I have seen numerous names along with the Doris Marks as well as just the Doris marks alone. This work in repousse and with a height of almost 5in. tall is the most dimensional work I think I have ever seen...

Vintage, stylish, organic shaped sterling clip earrings with oxidized areas by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. Measuring 1 1/2" by 1 1/4", they weigh 14 grams total and are in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Interesting and unusual.

This Victorian gold filled slide chain comprises a 48" long rope chain. The oval slide decorated is by 3 seed pearls on one side and unadorned on the other. The slide is slightly loose on the chain and has suffered a small dent. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.

A long sterling silver modernist pendant by Tane, Mexico with the 26" original chain. Tane was known as 'The Tiffany of Mexico.'

This pendant measures 4" long and 2 1/4" at the widest. Marked TANE, Sterling, Mexico and with an 'A' inside a triangle, probably for the silversmith.

The chain has Tane's unusual interlocking clasp which holds securely.

The pendant has some surface scratches, tarnish and shows some wear. Weighs 50gr.

High quality, outstanding design.

This is the "Bar Braid Pin" by Hector Aguilar featured on page 150 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. She dates it circa 1940 and it is in 940 silver. Measuring 2 7/8" by 1/2", it weighs 13 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. One of his very famous designs.

Pretty brooch or pin, a small guitar made in the late 19th century or around 1880. Micro mosaic made up of Millefiori glass tesserae in a brass setting. Length "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This is one of our very favorite rings. It would make a lovely engagement ring for a woman who wants something a bit different, and the green & red stones make it great for St. Patrick’s, Christmas, or really any time at all! The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat, but looks bigger), and is set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked but tested 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. There are 4 tiny rubies and 3 tiny green demantoid garnets...

A wonderful pair of Victorian cufflinks, the faces fashioned as bloodstone (heliotrope) spheres encircled by gold snakes. The stones are nicely mottled with red and green colors and spin freely on their axes. The snakes circle around the bloodstones at the equator and their heads rise up over the top. The gold is finished in the slightly matte “Russian finish” often used in Art Nouveau jewelry and the snakes are lightly engraved with scaly details. The faces are attached by arched connec...
