A stunning pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by one of Italy's greatest 20th century jewelry artists, Nino D'Antonio Germano. Germano was born into an important family of Roman jewelers in 1926 and came of age during World War II. He was inspired by designs from antiquity, and his pieces often feature ancient Greek, Roman and Etruscan grotesques, masks and other elements. this antique Tibetan pendant may have originally been used as earring or clothing ornament. I have slipped a simple black cord so it can now be used as a necklace. Coral and turquoise beads and silver decorations are all strung on a long silver post, so they can pivot around. the silver filigree disc at the bottom is missing one small filigree wire element, and possibly there was one a small stone in the middle of the disc...pendant measures 3+ inches long

Monumental sterling cuff bracelet with a beautiful design of twisted silver loops and arched terminals by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. She is one of the few well known women Mexican silversmiths of her time, active primarily in the 60's and 70's and having a shop in San Miguel de Allende. Measuring 6" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/8" opening, this bracelet is 2 1/2' wide at all points and weighs a very solid 218 grams. Signed as shown and in fine original condition...

Tobias was a contemporary of Matilde Poulat's and I believe he was probably also working in Mexico City. A Retro 14K yellow gold bracelet comprising hinged links set with amethysts alternating with diamond-set links. The oval mixed-cut amethysts have medium-dark, vivid reddish-purple color and are well-matched. The small old European and brilliant cut round diamonds add a restrained bit of sparkle. The amethysts are set in a way that makes them appear the float in the larger gold links, creating a sense of lightness in the bracelet. The clasp is marked “14K”.

Origin: America, ca. 1940...

Offered on consignment......... Circa mid-century, this bracelet is the work of Reveriano Castillo, who shop was called "Reveri". Reveriano began as an apprentice with William Spratling at Taller de Las Delicias in 1934, later working for Hector Aguilar at Taller Borda. He opened his own shop in 1952. This bracelet is composed of eight panels, each with a deeply incised modernist design, oxidized recessed, and silver ball in the center. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box...

Sterling over 18K diamond floral spray brooch from the mid-19th C. This lovely three dimensional brooch has a prong set Old Mine Cut center stone and numerous rose cut diamonds of varying sizes throughout. Brooch measures 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide (at widest). The back of the brooch is yellow gold with a trombone clasp. There appears to be a very small repair spot on the back of the brooch (just found on close inspection), otherwise excellent condition...
