From Spratling's first design period, hallmarks date this pin 1040-1944. This eagle serpent pin has superb repoussé silver work. Oxidized recesses and a highly detailed design really make this a standout piece. Measures 2 5/16" x 1 7/8". Weight is 26 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the WS Print Circle and Spratling Silver. Pin closes with a roller.

A 10k yellow gold man's synthetic blue sapphire ring from the 1950s. This vintage size 9-3/4 or 9.75 ring measures 9/16" x 5/8" along the setting. The square blue stone is bezel-set and open backed and the superb electric blue colour is always evident and shows nice light play from the rear facets (see pics). This classic modernist ring is stamped 10 K with an A+A maker's mark and it weighs a substantial 7.9 grams...

This early vintage Antonio Pineda 970 Silver bracelet features thick sculpted links set with uniquely cut Amethyst "tubes" witch are set so when the bracelet is closed it appears that the amethyst weave in and out of the silver links. A lovely Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold honeymoon pin in the form of a pearl-studded horseshoe enclosing a beautifully-enameled violet. The petals are worked in realistic shades of purple fading to pinkish-cream at the centers and the flower is accented with a bright green leaf. In the Victorian language of flowers, the violet was used to symbolize faithfulness. Combined with a horseshoe for good luck, a pin of this sort almost certainly would have served as a going-away gift...

Excellent vintage Sigi sterling and jasper bangle with two hinges. Marked SIGI, STERLING, HECHO EN MEXICO, and with design number 244. C. 1960. This piece is pictured on page 198 of "Mexican Silver" by Morrill and Berk. With a slide clasp and safety catch. Substantial at 71 grams/2.5 ounces. An outstanding mid-century modern piece.

This indescribable set dates to about 1870 and is in amazing condition. It is crafted of 18k yellow gold frames and backings with enamel accents. The centerpieces are depictions of birds crafted of actual bird feathers and set behind what is most likely a piece of rock crystal. They are truly little pieces of art! All three of the birds are different and there is no damage to be found anywhere...

This important amethyst and 14Kt yellow gold oval cluster pendant is centered by a 16 X 12 millimeter oval faceted amethyst. The center stone is encircled by fourteen round faceted graduated amethysts. The smaller stones are on top and graduate on both sides to the largest stone on the bottom. The approximate total weight of all stones is 10 + carats. The pendant measures 1 3/8” high including the bail and ¾’ wide.

A beautiful French silver-topped 18K yellow gold floral pin from the era of Emperor Napoleon III. The pin is designed as a spray of three flower buds, each just about to open into a different color. The flowers are bead-set with rose cut diamonds, and the colors are represented by rows of cushion and round cut sapphires, rubies and emeralds. Each bud is centered by a larger rectangular cushion cut diamond set in prongs. A pair of diamond-set leaves and a small diamond-set bud appear below...
