A whimsical, solid gold pendant with applied owl, boat, eagle, caterpillar and ship's wheel. The latter is accented by a round brilliant cut diamond and the owl and eagle both have diamond eye accents. This large pendant is 1-3/4" round and weighs a hefty 15.4 grams. Both the boat and owl are marked 14k along with the Larter logo.

Not much is known about Industria Argentina, except that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry in the 1950s and '60s. This weighty silver ring is typical of their purist modernist aesthetic.

Size 6. Marked "Industria Argentina, Buenos Aires," and hallmarked 900 for silver fineness. Quite substantial at 11.9 grams. Excellent vintage condition.

Bjarne Meyer did work for Gorham and also worked for Georg Jensen, USA. Measures 1 5/8" across. Has a three dimensional repousse design, possibly a stylized feather or apple. Stunning statement vintage 16 strand necklace of undyed natural Mediterranean salmon to red coral beads, with a large goldtone metal sliding element with cannetille wirework, and a matching goldtone metal hook clasp. A vintage large sterling silver Mid Century Modernist brooch by Ed Wiener in the shape of a five pointed star.

Made from thick sterling wire. Unsigned, as were most of his star brooches. We believe this one is the larger version.

Measures 3 1/8" across and 2" high.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There may be a slight bend on the long arm, may be original to the piece. Has some minor surface scratches and tarnish.
