This beautiful pin / brooch by Askel Holmsen has a diameter of 1 1/8". It is sterling vermeil with vivid, yellow enamel (basse-taille or guilloche) with a great design. The back is marked NORWAY STERLING, the Holmsen maker's mark / hallmark NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark which looks like 2 interlocking, horizontal V's: the are actually 2 overlapping silversmith tools. The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”. It is in superb condition. c 1950s
Famous design by Nanna Ditzel for Georg Jensen in 18K, Denmark, c.1960. Nanna Ditzel passed away in 2005. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 15 grams), this minimal modernist design is size 5 1/2 and is 1 1/4" high at center edge. Signed "GEORG JENSEN 750 18K 1091 DENMARK", it is in very good condition except for a few wear lines, tiny scratches, and a tiny dent on the edge of the ring. This sterling silver pendant 1 1/2" x 1". The agate stone has shades orange, yellow, and white, and is bezel-set, completely encased in silver. It hangs 9 1/2" from its sterling chain. The back is marked STERLING, with an artist / maker's mark of PW. It has good heft and is in excellent condition. I believe it is of Native American / Navajo origin.
A colorful, handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces bezel-set with carnelian and green chalcedony oval cabochons. The color contrast is very striking. A heavy and generously-sized Venetian Etruscan crown-shaped fob charm set with large oval green chalcedony cabochons and pearls. Exposed areas of gold are decorated with twisted wirework and rosettes. The chalcedony has very intense, slightly bluish-green coloring and the pearls have excellent luster with rose overtones. The charm is stamped with a pre-1968 Florentine goldsmith’s mark.

A wonderful pair of Victorian cufflinks, the faces fashioned as bloodstone (heliotrope) spheres encircled by gold snakes. The stones are nicely mottled with red and green colors and spin freely on their axes. The snakes circle around the bloodstones at the equator and their heads rise up over the top. The gold is finished in the slightly matte “Russian finish” often used in Art Nouveau jewelry and the snakes are lightly engraved with scaly details...

Fabulous, large, hand made Picasso-esque double profile face ring by Joseph Gourdji, NYC, c.1970's. Made of heavy gauge silver, the design shows two faces in profile. Quite large, it measures 1 1/8" tall. It is made so that the design faces out, so that it is size 9 1/4 at the top of the faces and size 8 3/4 at the bottom of the faces. However, if you want to wear it so that it faces towards the wearer, it is size 8 3/4-9. In excellent condition and is signed "GOURDJI STERLING"...
A beautiful pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold and natural green chalcedony cufflinks by Krementz. The cut-cornered rectangular faces are set with plaques of vivid green chalcedony surrounded by borders decorated in an angular raised diamond pattern. Cufflinks set with green gemstones are difficult to find, and this is a particularly attractive pair. The connectors are stamped 14K and have the Krementz hallmark.

An elegant small 14K gold enameled flower pin featuring a pair of white four-leaf clovers with green veining. Each flower is centered with a seed pearl. During the Victorian era, flowers were used to symbolize specific sentiments, and the white clover meant “think of me.” Small pins such as this were often given as presents to new brides and are sometimes called honeymoon pins. The back of the pin is stamped with Hammerman’s mark and 14K.
