This lovely American sterling silver and enamel cross exhibits an elaborately scrolled edge and vibrant green enamel. The cross and chain date from at least c. 1915 but could be older. The chain is original and made of flattened, rectangular links; there is no clasp. It tests definitively for silver. The enamel decoration on the cross is intact, and bears the usual minor flaws of handwork...

Gorgeous vintage 1960s French star form brooch in silvertone metal with very brilliant prong set rhinestones. The brooch has a French trombone pin close and typical French construction and materials. Possibly by a designer such as Roger Jean Pierre or Roger Scemama. I've attached it to a long strand of glass based faux baroque pearls, hand knotted, with matching silvertone spring ring clasp, from about the same period. The pearls are possibly Gripoix. Made in the 1960s, this vintage Mexican sterling silver bracelet consists of figural disks developing in a row defined by lengths of double-woven, thick chain. I have seen this combination featuring three different kinds of disk designs. While here we have depictions of the country's history as well as symbols of its old religion (a jaguar warrior portrait, Quetzalcoatl, Mexico's state Eagle) the specific bracelet design can be found with Mexican coins or representations of the zodiac cycle...

An abstract design, the pendant is set with what appears to be blue indicolite, which is a type of tourmaline, or blue jade. It is marked sterling on the reverse. The chain is composed of linked sterling edged rods, and is marked Italy and sterling on the flattened jump ring. One rod is slightly bent. The entire clasped necklace measures 18 inches long; the pendant is 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide.

A brutalist, hand wrought, modernist sterling silver pendant in a design resembling a boulder.

Measures about 2 3/4" long including the bale and 3/4" at the widest. Large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Can be worn with the hook from the bale facing the front or back.

Has some scuffs and a little tarnish. Adds to the brutalist nature of the piece so not sure if some of it is original.

Gorgeous big statement vintage 1940s French wired necklace with very big faceted yellow topaz glass beads, ornate French filigree beads, and snake chains, with a matching link chain section at the back. Great on its own or layer with other similar sautoirs. 32 inches wearable length and 3/4 inch or 20mm at the beads. A graceful pendant made from a teardrop-shaped plaque, oxidized and decorated with applied abstract forms. A thick strand of silver is applied at one side and terminates in a loop at the top, forming a bale. The back of the plaque is marked sterling. The pendant exhibits some scratching, primarily on the back; the front oxidation shows some wear but still retains its dramatic contrast with the applied decoration...

A large cabochon of Baltic amber with a deep, nicely distributed color is mounted within a sterling floral surround; the mounting has a closed back. The amber exhibits hardly any wear. The back has a working original rollover clasp as well as the maker’s mark of Niels Erik From of Denmark. The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches across.

Meticulously worked and perfectly finished this antique silver repousse cuff bracelet is obviously of Asian origin but I am not quite sure of its exact provenance. I don’t profess any kind of deeper knowledge in the world of Asian jewelry and the existence of cross-pollination and diasporic artisan communities throughout the region (the Indian and Chinese being prominent among them) make its identification a challenge for me...

Signed with the conjoined, stylized 'JB' mark.

Measures 2 1/2" in diameter and about 7 3/4" around the inside. Measures 1/4" at the flattened corners. Slips onto my average size wrist easily.

It is stamped STERLING, it has an engine turned design on the interior and it has fine hand engraving on the front. The shield has never been monogrammed and the plain back is unadorned...
