Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

A sterling silver brooch with leaves and two suspended berries by Joan Polsdorfer, who signed her work JoPoL, and was the first American designer to work for Georg Jensen, USA. She also sold her work directly to high end retail outlets. Brooch measures 1 7/8" across and 2 1/2" high. Marked on the back JoPoL, Sterling and design number 472. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Warm patina. Great Arts and Crafts design.

A nicely detailed 14K gold anchor pendant. In Victorian jewelry, the anchor was meant to convey a sense of hope, security and steadfastness. This classic example is enhanced with a detailed spiral or rope and sharp prongs. The piece is large enough to wear as a pendant or could be used as a charm on a chunky bracelet. Stamped “14K.”

Fabulous bracelet composed completely of violet-colored glass flowers and green leaves strung on an amber glass chain. This is one of the best pieces of early glass jewelry we've encountered. The delicacy and detail of the modeling is outstanding, as are the colors. The bracelet retains its original brass c-clasp.

Origin: probably Czechoslovakia, circa 1920. Condition: all original, all pieces intact, two flowers have minute flakes. Size: 7-1/2" long.

One-of-a-kind hand made crystal and sterling modernist signed ring by Catanzaro, c.1960's. She passed away last year. Signed "CATANZARO", the triangular-shaped crystal measures 7/8" by 3/4" by 7/8". A vintage sterling silver hammered cuff bracelet made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge. This bracelet measures about 7 3/4" around and 3/8" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. Fine work, quality piece.

A pair of sterling silver modernist rings by the mid century jeweler Ella Cone, who had The Silversmiths' shop in Boston. May purchase individually or as a pair.

The wrap ring measures about 6 1/2 and is adjustable due to the nature of the design. Has a bezel set green agate or pale jade stone. Marked on the inside with the cipher of the artist, xTo and 925. Flares out, can be worn with the stone section up or down. Front measures 7/8" long. Has some tarnish and nicks along the edges...

Two modernist sterling silver hand wrought brooches by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013) in organic free flowing styles. Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

The first brooch is constructed of two layers of sterling with different angles. Measures 3 1/4" long. Has a secure rollover clasp. Marked LORE Sterling...

A fascinating pair of Irish sterling silver cufflinks, the faces formed from flattened spheres of carved rock crystal set in a silver band. The faces are joined with solid connectors to ball backs. The mountings are indistinctly marked with Irish hallmarks and also have a maker’s mark “RK”.

Origin: Ireland, 1971. Condition: excellent. Size: 15/16” diameter.

A very stylish pierced design 14Kt two tone bar pin from the 1920-s is centered by an approximately 0.07 Ct old-mine diamond. The pin is 2 ¼” long and 3/8” wide at the widest part.

An Art Deco 9K yellow gold pink crystal graduated round bead glass necklace from the 1915-25 period. This 17" long vintage beauty features graduated pink crystal round faceted beads ranging from 3/16" to 5/16" wide. It has a springring clasp and it is a classic and elegant Art Deco design, great for a 1920s flapper wedding or party. This necklace also has lattice style openwork gold links between the crystals...

A vintage 830 silver storyteller bracelet by David Andersen, Norway. Made up of alternating panels with what looks like a large lizard and a person on horseback yielding a sword and shield. There is some oxidation to the background for a contrasting effect.

Measures 7 1/4" long and just under an inch wide. Signed with the scales mark and 830S for the silver content on the back of the clasp.

In very nice condition, has some wear to the oxidation and minor surface scratches...
