Figural sterling letter opener, by George Shiebler, Brooklyn,NY, c.1895. Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. An elegant Art Deco 18K natural (not dyed) Burmese apple green jade stick pin. This high quality perfectly polished translucent apple green jadeite cabochon measures 1/2" or 1.3 cm and is set in an 18K mounting which measures 3/4" long. In excellent condition, the stick pin is not marked but was acid tested. Whole pin measures 2 5/8" long.

This 'Showgirl' with long wavy bejeweled gilded tresses fur clip has size and aesthetic appeal. It is a very satisfying motif to collect. She is3"x 1 3/4". She is made up of two separate parts in different finishes.In this case her face is platinum finish and her tresses are golden.

In "American Costume jewelry by Brunialti & Brunialti, v. 2 p.164. she is called "Female Head" from 1941. Vogu;e, October 1. 1941 called her "platinum head" .

An unusual hand wrought brooch in the shape of a surrealist eye in thick hammered sterling silver with a brown gemstone bead for the iris. Has 2 layers of sterling, one more hammered then the other for an interesting contrast. The dangling brown bead moves and reflects on the sterling background.

Signed with a partially struck To... ier, Sterling and 925. Wish we could figure out the artist. Measures 4 1/4" long and 2 7/8" at the widest. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely...

This beautiful old miniature depicts an elegant lady, hand painted, in an asymmetrical frame set with seed pearls. It is a watch pin, meaning that there is a hook on the back (invisible from the front) for hanging a dainty watch or some other dangle, such as a pearl – or not, if you don’t wish to. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/4”. It is unmarked, but has a French/Art Nouveau flavor, and tests 90-100% silver...

Two pairs of sterling silver modernist abstract dangle earrings by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. Can buy each pair individually or both pairs.

The first pair look like stylized commas. They are opposites so frame the face when worn. They measure 1" long and 1/2" at the widest. Have the stylized 'phyllis' hallmarks on the back of both dangles and sterling on the back of the screw backs.

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. An Art Nouveau sterling silver lady with poppy brooch circa 1900. A flowing haired fin-du-siecle beauty, staring wistfully off, with a large poppy (a symbol of forgetfulness) beside her. It is a large brooch, measuring 2" x 2-1/4". It is stamped STERLING and it has the original c-clasp. Kerr and Gorham and a few other firms were well known for these sterling hollow Art Nouveau face pins. It is stamped Sterling only, but is clearly a fine quality example...

Two very cool brooches in brass by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. May purchase as a pair or individually.

The fish brooch measures 2" across and 1 1/2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. Has some tarnish.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a baroque pearl by Sigi Pineda. Design number 81. Measures 3" long and 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches. There is a place on the front edge where you can feel the hallmark stamp from the back. It was stamped too close to the edge. Not really noticeable, but wanted to call it...

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet from Spain by Puig Doria. Love the exaggerated large circular connectors.

Sleek squared off design. Measures a little more than 6 3/4" around and 1/4" wide. Closes with a secure tongue clasp. Marked 925 and Puig Doria on one of the connector rings.

Very nice condition, has some minor scratches and very tiny nicks along the edges.

A vintage modernist pendant by noted silversmith Emily A. Day in a three dimensional design. Pendant measures 2 1/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Chain measures 22" long and has a secure spring clasp. Signed EA DAY, Sterling at the bottom of the pendant. Has some tarnish. Nice weight and high quality. Very unique design.

This great 14Kt yellow gold bar pin dates back to circa 1920. The top is decorated by an openwork design and centered by a 3 milimeter round faceted natural blue sapphire. The pin is 2 ½” long and 3/16” wide.

Composed of gilded sterling, this delicate necklace features four-lobed stylized florals in white enamel, with translucent enameled centers imitiating half-pearls. It is marked with the David-Andersen scales, and the designer’s mark of Willy Winnaess. Secure, original hardware on both necklace and earrings, which are clip backs. Necklace measures 15 ¼ inches long; earrings are roughly 3/8 inch square. Necklace weight: 27.6 grams
