This is an impressive Hector Aguilar bracelet. Vintage dated to 1940-45 because of the earlier 990 mark making this one more rare than most. Weighing 51.2 grams and 1 1/8in. wide the chain is heavy and the gage of the medallion is thick silver. I was quite surprised the first time I had this design in my hands because it was a larger piece than anticipated from photographs. A lovely addition fit for anyone's collection.

A handsome pair of 14K gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with dark green jasper plaques. The gold has a soft “bloom” sometimes seen on jewels from the late 19th century. A rare, stunning vintage sterling necklace and earrings by Modernist Joachim S'Paliu of Cordorba, Spain. Born in 1944, he produced a significant line of jewelry during the 1960's and 70's. Fabulous wide sterling collar necklace with intricate design by Far Fan, Mexico, c.1947. The intricate hand cut design is brilliantly engineered so that one piece fits perfectly into the other. Huge, chunky and gracefully carved, this three piece set has style! The color combination and the clunking sound they make when moved against each other are a Bakelite lover's joy. Even at their ancient age, all three bracelets are in perfect condition. Each bracelet has a 2 1/2" inside diameter, 1/4" wall and is 1 1/8" wide.

The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.

The sterling silver cat & fish pin was designed by Hubert Harmon in the 1940's. Fish with hook measures 5" long. Cat head with cascabells is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The connecting chain is 10" long. Cat has amethyst eyes, fish with amethyst eye & amethyst tail detail. Pin back and locks work perfectly. Beautiful condition. Featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 63 is this early Hector Aguilar Sterling Silver Bracelet. Beautifully designed and crafted with decorative circles connected by three silver bands. Measures 7" long, 1" wide and weighs 70 grams. In good condition with a secure clasp. Hallmarked HA, Made in Mexico, Sterling. A great bracelet that will never go out of style.

This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Interior length measures 5 1/2" end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2". Terminals measure 2 3/4" wide, center front is 2 1/2" wide. Weight 79 grams. The bracelet is in beautiful condition.
