A set of 3 sterling silver ducks scatter pins from the 1930s-40s. This charming vintage set of three handmade gilt sterling silver duck scatter or sweater pins have safety catches and they measure from 1-1/2" across to 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" across. They are stamped HANDMADE STERLING on the backs, no other marks, and the gilding that remains has a rose gold colour, which was very popular in the 1930s -early 1940s...

These fine cuff links have a diameter of 3/4". They display an abstract character: a J or a P? The backs are marked LEONORE DOSKOW HANDMADE STERLING. The toggle findings are also marked STERLING. The cuff links are in excellent condition, circa 1950s-1960s.

An Edwardian pink crystal pendant necklace circa 1910. This vintage, stylish gold plated sautoir necklace has fine pink open-back cut crystal stones. This ring is a size 11. It is sterling silver with an onyx "center." It has interesting decor on each side (of the band). It is marked STER with a maker's mark of which I am not familiar (maybe an R with a dot in the middle). I believe it is American made: c. 1950's. It is solid with good heft and is in excellent condition.

A bit of history for your lapel During the Victorian era, every young gentleman had to make his Grand Tour, picking up souvenirs along the way. Lava cameos (actually made from a very fine-textured limestone) made into jewelry were highly sought after. We can visualize this as a gift from a young man to a blushing Victorian maiden! This Victorian lava cameo is mounted in a 14 k gold stickpin. The cameo and mounting are 3/8" in height; overall length of the pin is 2 5/8"...

Wide copper band is decorated with an applied brass monkey figure inspired by a Precolumbian motif (see the last photo). It is inset with small pieces of abalone. On one side is a discolored area, of about ½ inch square, left from an old label. As the discoloration is on the side, it is not obvious when the cuff is worn. The bracelet measures 2 ½ inches at its widest part and 2 ½ inches across the opening. It has a 7 ½-inch internal circumference.

This beautiful peacock barrette measures 2 1/4" x 3/4" at longest and widest points. It is not flat: slightly convex, measuring about 1/8" heightwise (not including the bar/clasp). The mixture of colors is stunning. The enamel is light and dark blue, purple, red, green, orange, yellow....

Renoir of California had an affinity for primitive art, and the design of this bracelet is a good example of that inspiration. Part of the company’s Matisse line of enameled jewelry, this bracelet features oblong copper panels of two lengths decorated with blue enamel with white specks. The fold-over clasp is marked ‘Matisse’ on the top. There are some minor edge chips in the enamel on the back. It measures about 7 inches long by 1 1/4 inches at its widest point.

A fine vintage suite of Japanese gold plated Komai decorated pieces in the form of butterflies c1960s. Signed AMITA JAPAN, this set features the black matte ground and inlaid gold and silver metals with Japanese scenes. This vintage Maltese cross is made of burnished gold metal set with faux pearls, sky-blue rhinestones and sapphire blue rhinestones.. It is 2 1/4" in diameter. Excellent vintage condition.

This is an OLDER IVORY ELEPHANT PIN from a VIRGINIA ESTATE. Size is 1" X 1 3/4" and the TRUNK is in the UPWARD POSITION. Easily Noticeable IVORY GRAINING on the Front of the Pin. Circa 1950, perhaps earlier. Attractively CARVED. ADD to the OLD IVORY JEWELRY and/or ELEPHANT COLLECTION.

Here is a beautiful early pin by Danecraft. It has a diameter of 1 1/2". It has an open circle, decorative border, surmounted by a lovely, single flower with repousse leaves and petals. The back is marked DANECRAFT REG. U.S. PAT. OFF STERLING. Unlike later pieces, this very well crafted older piece has decent weight to it. It's in excellent condition.
