This necklace has an early design period made by William Spratling at the beginning of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Also the necklace boasts a roomy 16.75 inches of wearable length. A very large, heavy 18K gold Venetian Etruscan fob charm pendant set with oval red coral cabochons and pearls. The gold surface is heavily decorated with applied wirework and rosettes. Wonderful Navajo cuff bracelet with great chiseling and stamping circa 1920-30. While this bracelet is from that time period, the design is very unusual and modern looking. An elegant Art Nouveau bracelet worked in 18K gold, each link is the form of a pansy enclosed in a scrolling border. The Victorian floriography (the “language of flowers”), the pansy represented the sentiment “think of me.” Jewels with pansies were often given as a romantic gesture or by the parents of a young woman upon her marriage. The bracelet is stamped with 18K fineness marks and an unidentified goldsmith’s mark.
