Jade, ancient symbol of perfection, power and immortality is the STONE of the season. A classic 14K yellow gold and Jade man's ring, circa 1940, size 10, easily re-sized, stamped 14K and monogrammed in script LBC to CY. The jade cabochon has a nice translucency and measures 12 x 15mm; total weight of 6.2 grams. Condition is excellent.

Gold screwback earrings with large carved apple jade drops. 1920s, with Chinese marks. Also marked 14K. Together they weigh 4 grams. Nice size -- 2 inches long and 9/16 inch wide. Excellent condition. One jade drop has a line -- it is visible in photos. It can be felt on the outside but the stone is completely stable and is not noticeable except in enlarged photos. Art Deco 18K Yellow Gold Pendant Necklace with 2 rosecut diamonds, 2 roundcut peridot, and 1 dangling lustrous pearl on a 14K yellow gold (hallmarked) chain. Probably circa 1920s, possibly French. Can also be worn as a pin (see photo). Chain is modern, not original. Fully tested to be 18K. Length of chain is 21 inches (approx 20 inch wearable length w pendant attached). Width: 1 5/16 inches. Fabulous and early vintage yellow gold and carved jade drop screwback earrings with Chinese motifs. Circa 1925. Not marked, but they test positive for at least 14KT gold. Together they weigh 4 grams. The carving on the drops is double sided and photos show both sides.

A magnificent Art Deco 18K white gold ring set with a 1.49-ct Burmese ruby surrounded by round diamonds. The ruby has a pure, vivid red color and eye-clean clarity. There are no indications of heat or other treatment. The back of the mounting is enhanced with a pierced gallery and geometric engraving. The diamonds are G-H color, SI clarity. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector. This beautifully executed pendant is circle shaped and features a youthful Mercury wearing a winged helmet surrounded by eight marcasite stars, hinged at the base, reverse side with script monogram EMJ. Size: 1 1/2" dia. Condition is very good. Front is perfect. Wear to the reverse plate.

An absolutely stunning Art Deco cross pendant in 18K yellow gold accented with diamonds and sapphires. The body of the cross is worked in pierced yellow gold, centering a nearly 2/3-carat round old European cut diamond collet-set in platinum. The piercing lightens the appearance of the cross and creates the visual effect of rays emanating from the central diamond...

Subtle hearts in this handsome pair of vintage 14K yellow gold, black onyx and seed pearl earrings. Each featuring a black faceted square shape onyx with a centered design of 8 half-seed pearl set in a gold flower with heart shaped petals, unmarked but tested 14K, wire clip back with centered wreath, gold border. Size: 3/4" Condition is excellent.

A classic pair of Art Deco 18K yellow gold flip-up stirrup cufflinks, the ends set with blue sapphire sugarloaf cabochons. The flip-up stirrup cufflinks were popularized by Cartier during the Art Deco era. The sapphires have dark, vivid blue hue and very good clarity. The cufflinks are signed “Cartier”, have the maker’s mark, the serial number and the French “tete d’aigle” hallmark for 18K gold.

With a center square cut diamond of about 4 mm by 4 mm, or .40 carat, and ten other small round diamonds including four at 2 mm and six at 1 mm. With two emeralds of about 1 mm by just under 2 mm. A very fine Art Deco 14K yellow gold necklace of filigree links centering a collet-set carved jadeite disc suspending another filigree link and a large oval plaque of jadeite carved in a floral pattern. The workmanship of the filigree is superior, with finely detailed millegraining on nearly all the surfaces. The use of yellow gold in filigree jewelry of the period is quite unusual, but is very attractive as a foil to the rich green of the gemstones...
