These unique Earrings by Antonio Pineda are a great example of the imaginative designs he is know for. The earring resemble an Arrow open at the center which slip between the front and back of your earlobe so when worn it appears that the top of the arrow is piercing your ear and exiting at the bottom. They measure 1 1/2" long and each is marked with the Antonio Taxco Crown Mark. In good condition with light wear - the backs are a bit out of shape - and they have some light tarnish...
Stunning statement vintage late 1960s necklace by Mimi di Niscemi for Brania, with many strands of translucent and opaque resin beads, and a huge decorative box

A classic Venetian Etruscan 18K gold charm set with oval amethysts. The gold surfaces are ornately worked with rosettes, beaded and rope-twist decoration. The amethysts have nice intense violet color that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding gold. Charms of this type are usually extremely large, but this example is in a rare smaller size that’s easier to wear on a bracelet or as a pendant. Tested and guaranteed 18K.
1960s French necklace of black glass beads, and black and clear Lucite oblong drops, with goldtone metal findings. From the atelier runway
collection of Madame Gres. Not marked but well documented. Germaine Emilie Krebs (1903-1993), known as Alix Barton and later as
Madame Gres, launched her design house in Paris in 1942. She produced haute couture designs for many fashionable women, including Greta

Stunning, dramatic, and big vintage bib or collar necklace in Egyptian revival style. Circa 1960. An unsigned Schreiner piece.
Many Schreiner pieces were made for designers such as Christian Dior, Norman Norell, Pauline Trigere, and others, and were
unsigned because they were made to be shown or sold as accessories to the designer's couture clothing collection. Signed
Schreiner pieces were made to be sold individually in stores...
One of the best lapidaries in Taxco’s jewelry history, Felipe Martinez created amazing jewelry in many styles. The classy sterling silver and azur-malachite earrings at hand follow the “mozaico Azteca” line that was introduced by the Los Castillo workshop. Rich, dark blues, understated safe and a breath-taking splash of electric green come together in the stone inlay held securely in the most minimal “gypsy” setting...
14K yellow gold eternity band set with cabochon sapphires. Width is approximately 1/8 inch, size 7.5, cannot be sized.
A stunning pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by one of Italy's greatest 20th century jewelry artists, Nino D'Antonio Germano. Germano was born into an important family of Roman jewelers in 1926 and came of age during World War II. He was inspired by designs from antiquity, and his pieces often feature ancient Greek, Roman and Etruscan grotesques, masks and other elements. He was principally a sculptor, but made a very small amount of jewelry using the lost wax method of casting...
Sold through Plateria Cortes this Taxco mid-century silver and stone necklace is signed by Enrique Ledesma and indeed considered a classic example of the Mexican modernist. Ledesma excelled in the marriage of sterling and semi-precious or hard stones is sleek, minimalist designs so his jewelry has a timeless appeal and is very much relevant today as it was when it first saw the day of light...
This mid-century bracelet by Antonio Pineda is unique and unusual. And a real stunner.
It reminds me of a tiara, or a crown. Tipped with nine pearls, executed in 970 silver, it's a heavy and substantial hand-wrought showpiece. Hinged at both sides to open wide and easily fit over the wrist, closure is a tight and secure tongue in box...
Fabulous 1960s French collier made from goldtone metal and wired glass beads simulating different colors of jade, coral, amber, turquoise, carnelian, and lapis. Also with small goldtone metal fluted beads which I have had on another signed French necklace. Slide clasp with matching wired beads. I had a very very similar necklace several years ago, with a slightly different clasp. Wearable length is 16 inches. The drop is 2 1/4 inches. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. One of the most talented Taxco maestros, Gerardo Lopez was exceptional in the art of repoussage and his jewelry is sought after and avidly collected for its quality and inventive motif combinations. I have suggested in the past that he must have worked for the Los Castillo and / or Margot de Taxco because many of the motifs he uses are also found in the famous workshops' creations. The set of earrings presented here, a classic Taxco "flourish", can be combined with several of his sublime pectora...
I acquired this pair of Miguel Melendez’s hinged bangles as a set some time ago and after long deliberations, I decided that they should continue in life as such. Miguel is one of Taxco’s modernists yet he honed his skills at Spratling’s Las Delicias and working for Margot de Taxco for many years. This specific design is a favorite of mine’s by him - it brings to mind rock formations and I love the interplay of negative and positive space. I am also attracted to the specific stone that ...
