An unusual horseshoe shape shell cameo brooch in a gold filled setting circa 1920 - 1930. This vintage beautifully carved cameo was designed for a family with a passion for horse racing. A very fine Victorian 14K yellow gold chain necklace made of fancy open-work links with diamond plaque appliques alternating with reeded circular links. Lovely Art Deco pools of light necklace circa 1920 or 1930, made from 19 genuine rock crystal orbs, undrilled, held in silverplate wire, with a spring ring clasp and connecting jump rings. The clasp is marked but illegibly except for the number 211 in a cartouche. The metal is dark brass or other goldtone base metal with traces of silver or white gold plating, however most of the plating is lost. A fun piece of sporting jewelry depicting a crossed pair of croquet mallets and a coral ball inside the wicket. The banded agate stone is black with a single white line and has never been engraved. Croquet became fashionable among the English elite in 1856 when when the first book of croquet rules was published and the All England Croquet Club was formed at Wimbledon. The fob is stamped “10 ct.”

The large ring has 4 pieces of amber and is size 8 1/4. The front of the ring measures 1 1/2" long by 7/8" wide. The pierced earrings each have 3 pieces of amber and measure 1" by 1". An Art Deco 18k white gold aquamarine bar pin circa 1920s. This 2-1/4" long pin measures 3/8" across the bezel-set 16mm x 8mm. aquamarine, which weighs 4.7 carats and has a light grayish/greenish blue colour. This pin has applied flowers at the ends of the stone and a pierced lower gallery; it weighs 4.5 grams and it comes with a recent conservative independent appraisal for $1500...

Heavily carved with an Aztec motif this vintage sterling cuff was designed & signed c. 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. The bracelet is 1 1/2" high & weighs 107 grams.
