A very fine Victorian festoon necklace worked in 14K yellow gold and set with variously cut amethysts and tiny seed pearls. The central element features two oval and one antique cushion cut amethysts suspending a large antique cushion cut amethyst flanked by a pair of pear-shaped drops and further suspending a more triangular pear-shaped drop. Each of the stones is set in an ornate ropetwist, beaded and scrolled setting in the Etruscan Revival taste...

An Edwardian 9k pearl and paste stones brooch circa 1900 - 1910. This antique 1" across yellow gold pin has a 5.7 mm genuine pearl in the center. The pearl has a nice cream-color lustre, and the four surrounding stones are synthetic emeralds (or green paste) and the rest are clear paste (or possibly white sapphires - all of these open-back stones are untested)...

An Art Deco 14K diamond solitaire ring in 14k yellow and 18k white gold circa 1920s. This vintage size 6 ring measures 3/16" across the diamond, which is a 20 point round brilliant cut stone of VS-2 clarity and F colour, fair cut. This ring is stamped 14K-18K with a maker's mark, it weighs 2.6 grams. It had an independent gemological appraisal for $1000 (from August 2009). This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A heavy, dramatic necklace composed of three rows of interlocking links soldered together. The outer rows are copper, and the middle row is brass; both metals have retained their luster. The brass clasp is very secure and is marked on the back Mexico with a partial Tlaquepaque’s, and the maker’s initials FCS underneath. The necklace measures 7/8 inch wide and about 18 inches long; it is slightly curved. Weight: 81.5 grams

An elegant pair of Retro 14K yellow gold earclips by Tiffany & Co. The earrings are fashioned as a fold of pleated gold, each with a single 5-mm cultured pearl in the center. The pearls are of fine quality, with cream body color and pronounced rose overtone. The original clips are the patented adjustable style often seen on Tiffany earrings from the 1940s and 50s. The backs are marked “Tiffany & Co.” and “14K”.

Superbly crafted, profusely decorated and visually powerful this early Mexico City repousse figural brooch is an a rather rare example of vermeil silver jewelry from the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance. I will admit that I am not particularly fond of vermeil - I love the look and feel of aged silver without "enhancements" that make it look like something it is actually not. Yet there are those very very scarce moments when a piece like this shows up and it makes me reconsider...

This lovely pin has hand-applied calla lilies and leaves on a shaped flat panel, with lovely detail and nicely aged patina. The safety clasp is secure, and the pin is marked sterling on the back. It measures 1 3/4 inches long by nearly 1 inch at its widest part.

This stunning bracelet by Felipe Martinez has the most gorgeous Azur-Malachite stones in vivid shades of blue and green set in thick sculped links. Measures 6 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 76.7 grams. Hallmarked "Piedra y Plata, Martinez, Sterling, Taxco, 175" and the eagle 3. No damage noted, it has a secure clasp and attached safety chain. Martinez was known for his superb lapidary skills and this beautiful bracelet is a wonderful example of his work.

All of the 36 wonderfully matched square cut diamonds are channel set in an 18Kt white gold 2 millimeter wide eternity band. The size of the band is 5 ¾ and the approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 0.75Ct.

A 53-1/2" long vintage Art Deco green and clear facetted bead flapper necklace c1920s. This beauty features alternating 3/16" facetted emerald green and clear beads with a chrome-plated box clasp with a bezel set green rhinestone. The clasp is stamped MADE IN CZECHOSL. and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor rubbing to the clasp's chrome plating...

A fine 18K yellow gold Sputnik ring by H Stern. The dome is bezel-set with nineteen round citrines, amethysts, pink and green tourmalines, garnets and aquamarines. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It came to be called “Sputnik” because of its resemblance to the spike Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

This 3/8" wide bangle measures 1-3/4" across the interior at the maximum setting of the buckle and pin style clasp; it weighs 7.3 grams, it is marked STERLING with an 8 and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than being slightly off-round...

This novelty pair vintage cufflinks is an elegant piano keyboard design, the keys are mother of pearl and black onyx, separated by gold lines, the backs are gold plated on sterling, marked on the side AUSTRIA.. Measurements: 7/8 in wide x 1/2 in long. Condition of the design is perfect. The camera shows wear to the gold plate which is not as visible to the naked eye.
