A vintage pair of cufflinks, the faces constructed of banded agate carved in the shape of antique pistols. The stones are nicely matched and have attractive markings in shades of orange, caramel and cream. The silver mountings are marked “Sterling”.

Handsome cufflinks with hexagonal faces linked by chains to torpedo backs. The faces are engraved with an intricate engine-turned design. The backs are marked with Finnish hallmarks for Helsinki. The maker’s mark is illegible, but the gold content is “890” which translates to around 21K.

Interesting silver ring with a big red cabochon agate and some gold, made by Danish silversmith Ole W Jacobsen (workshop 1952 – 2002). The ring is hand hammered all around, the gold probably not under 14 K. An old “scar” to the stone, made by nature herself, has been left untouched to let the setting follow its shape. A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

This 14Kt yellow gold filigree bar pin is from the late 1910’s or early 1920’s. The great filigree design is further decorated and centered by a bezel set 3 millimeter round faceted aquamarine. The length of the pin is 2 3/16” and the width is 3/16” – ¼”.
