A well proportioned marquise diamond centers this platinum engagement ring and the center stone is flanked by a leaf design which is decorated by three single cut diamonds on either side. A lovely Art Nouveau Krementz 14K yellow gold festoon necklace featuring pear-shaped amethyst drops and small natural pearls enhanced with swags of gold links. Each of the amethysts hangs from a gold trumpet flower mounting that echos the central gold plaque. The gold surfaces are worked in the slightly matte Russian finish popular in high quality Art Nouveau jewels. The clasp and the back of the central plaque are marked by Krementz.

This rare inlaid sterling silver belt buckle was designed & signed circa 1950's by modernist Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda. The buckle measures 5 1/4" across X 2 1/4" high & weighs 137 grams. The "eclipse" design is inlaid with black onyx and accented with copper wash. The wearable length of the belt with buckle is 32". The leather strap is 29" inches long, 1" high in front & gradually widens to 2" at the back. It can be adjusted up or down as neither side is sewn in place...

Some would say this is Antonio Pineda's most loved design. His work is masterful and with a 1.75in. tall presence it commands center stage. The diameter is 4.5in. and is at least a 16.5in. wearable length. My model has molded hair that takes up some length of the necklace in the back so it will be somewhat longer on you. The obsidian glows (but is hard to photograph). No damage and no flaws with a display of 223 grams of majestic silver and stone...
