A group of six vintage matched 3/4" x 1/2" (average) oval hand carved shell portrait cameos c1930s. These nicely carved unset shell cameos are unused old store stock from a Toronto jewellery store that closed many years ago. They would be perfect for a bracelet or necklace. This beautiful bracelet consists of 9 decorative, square links. Each, slightly convex, encases a fine filigree, openwork design with applied silver "balls." It is 6 1/2" long x 3/4". The v-spring is marked 830S and it has a concealed box clasp. It is in excellent condition.

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures just under 7 1/2" long. Each of the 7 links are bezel-set with colorful abalone. They are shaped like upside down triangles, similar to the later, carved, Aztec mask jewelry. Each link is surmounted on the classic Taxco, Mexico square of 4 round beads / balls. The back is marked ANR 925; but, it was stamped in reverse, see pictures. This great piece is circa 1920's to 1940's.

This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams

Superb simplicity: elegant bronze and enamel brooch with a stylized profile in a circle, clearly inspired by the Bauhaus logotype created by Oskar Schlemmer. Unsigned, probably French, c 1930. Diameter "1 / 2.4 cm. Condition: fine.

A nice revival piece imitating the late Victorian Scottish agate pins. The agates are securely set in etched sterling silver. The top features a pierced setting mounted with a glass half-bead in the same dark honey color of the original Scottish cairngorms. The pin has a rollover clasp that probably replaced the original C-clasp. The pin stem appears to be original. The pin is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. It measures a little over 2 ½ inches long.

This necklace is a nice example of Renoir’s early enameled copper line known as Matisse. The mottled red and white enamel is opaque, as opposed to the translucent, glassy work that characterized the firm’s later enameled jewelry. The overall design is reminiscent of the abstract expressionist art of the 1950s...

This ring has a beautiful design and is a size 9. It is large, measuring 1 1/4" (from top to bottom). The band measures 1/4", wrapping around to display its swirly, modernist design. It reminds me of a miniature, wraparound bracelet, as the top and bottom "swirls" are not fused together. It is marked MEXICO and 925. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Formed as a variation on a sunflower or daisy, this graceful silver brooch features seven small coral beads in the center. It is completely handmade and is unmarked, save for some stray hatch marks and the number 5 scratched into the back. Its thoughtful design evokes a naturalistic delicacy and movement. The entire piece tests for silver except for the pin stem; the trombone clasp and tube hinge indicate a possible earlier date, but it is likely European...

This large, Native American Navajo style ring displays a central, bezel set, large, onyx stone measuring 3/4" x 1/2". Each side displays the Thunderbird emblem: wonderfully detailed. It is a size 11. The inside is marked 925. This ring has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This oval Kramer of New York champagne and root beer and clear colored rhinestone pin is 1 3/4" in diameter on the long side. However, it has 4 rhinestones below the oval to bring the length dimension to 2 1/4" and add three dimensional depth to this pin. This pin is in excellent condition.

 

This sterling good is hallmarked 'sterling' and a very faint signature for Coro. It is 3 3/4" square.
