A lovely and very unusual locket in the Art Nouveau style. A large central crystal is surrounded by whiplash curves of 15K yellow gold studded with variously sized seed pearls and blue sapphires. Double-sided crystal lockets of this sort ("porte-photos") are typically French and are of a much simpler design. The reverse is stamped "15Ct".

The old world charm and workmanship is obvious, when you look at this great pinwheel design broach / pendant from circa 1910. The eight swirls are set with oriental seed pearls, each swirl is centered by an old-mine diamond and so is the center of the broach. There are 64 oriental seed pearls and 9 old-mine diamonds.
