A handsome pair of late Victorian cufflinks worked in 18K yellow gold with platinum accents around oval bloodstone cabochons. The combination of metal colors against the deep blackish-green and red of the bloodstone is quite striking. The faces are attached with bar connectors. Tested and guaranteed 18K and platinum.

An E A Bliss gold plated buckle design sash brooch circa 1895. This hand engraved pin measures 3-1/8" x 1-5/8" and has the original c-clasp. It has the company mark of the EA Bliss company of New York (est. 1875). This company later became Napier. Sash pins were quite popular at the end of the Victorian era, with some fine Art Nouveau designs also. A nice mid-Victorian early thermoplastic or vulcanite cameo brooch c1860-70. Made of the same medium brown thermoplastic used in the era for items such as photograph cases (and sometimes mis-described as gutta percha, and also known by the trade name of Vulcanite), this 1-7/8" x 1-1/2" brooch has fine detail, and it depicts a cameo of very high definition (she sits a full 3/8" above the surface platform)...
