Being offered is a circa 1965 sterling silver bracelet by Los Ballesteros of Taxco, Mexico, heavy gauge silver hinged bracelet boasting a modern design with a large prong set amethyst cabochon; tongue and box clasp with security latch. Dimensions wearable 6 1/2"; 1 5/8" wide. Great weight. Marked. In excellent condition. As good as Pineda.

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings with moonstone cabochons by Antonio Pineda, Taxco.

Measure 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. Marked with the Antonio crown, and an Early Eagle 17 mark. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish.

An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. The real stone scarabs measure 3/4" x 5/8"; the bracelet 7.5" x 1".

This two tone 14Kt gold graduated equestrian bracelet is an original period piece dating back to the 1960-s. The connecting links are 14Kt white gold while the rest of the bracelet is 14Kt yellow gold. The center is a 3 dimensional horse in a horseshoe, flanked on either side by bits intertwined with a horseshoe, followed by a horse head in a stirrup and before the clasp there is a stirrup strap with a buckle. The 6 6/8” bracelet is 1” wide at the center and tapers to 3/16” at the ends.

A vintage modernist silver necklace with three large charms suspended from a rectangular bar by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin.

The central pendant measures 4" across with the charms hanging 2". The chain measures 20" long and slides over the head. The center charm is marked with the stylized Guayasamin on the back. The charms are heavy and solid. Fine condition. There are minor scratches to the rectangular bar.

Interesting piece.

Set here against untreated sterling (quite often, Ledesma uses niello-type oxidation to enhance the contrast between gemstone and silver) the stones pass from amethyst to a steely purple under different light conditions thus mimicking the behavior of alexandrites...

HUGE hand made MODERNIST bronze nude female angel pendant probably made by either Carl Tasha or Pal Kepenyes, c.1960's. It is very heavy weight and measures a very large 4 3/4" by 4". An unusual Taxco Mexican sterling silver pendant and chain, with a central Pre Columbian carved green frog by the noted female jeweler, Bernice Goodspeed.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" across. The very detailed chain measures about 15 1/2" long. Hook closure. Marked on the back Sterling Taxco around the stylized 'B' for the artisan. Also marked with what looks like Eagle #28.

Very intricate work. Deep green color. Fine quality.
