Bold vintage German silver Art Deco locket and stylized geometrical patterned chain combine to create neck pizazz. The locket opens easily to hold two large pictures. The chain measures approx. 11 3/4"L and the locket measures 2" x 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" wide approx. The bale adds another 3/4" to the locket length. Excellent vintage condition. Wonderful piece that commands attention.

From the same estate, a gorgeous pair of green poured glass necklaces with graduated beads simulating Indian moghul emeralds, with early box clasps. 1930s, French. The glass beads are made by Gripoix. Shorter necklace is 15 3/4 inches long and longer necklace is 18 1/2 inches long. Drop for the two is about 2 inches. Excellent condition. Beautiful early vintage long sautoir necklace in small coral glass beads with larger lapis glass beads and brilliant strass rondelles. 1920s or 1930s. Such a fabulous contrasting color combination. Continuous strand. This has been restrung for security and one set of rondelles are new replacements but this is not at all noticeable. 64 inches long. The blue beads are 3/8 inch/10mm wide. Vintage gold-filled double-sided hinged Photo Locket made by the American Company Hamilton and Hamilton Jr, Providence, RI, circa 1935, featuring a curved surface engraved with script monogram EHJ, original double-sided celluloid covers, hallmarked H&H with a star, reverse side horizontally engraved PAUL. Size: 1 1/2"long x 1" wide. Condition is very good with minor plate wear, small indentation on back.

Jewelry hosting carved stone hearts in silver settings was very popular in the Mexican Deco period. Teased out of jasper and agate and oftentimes even dyed calcite, the hearts are unfailingly curvaceous as if pulsing with life, their sculpturality shamelessly inviting the touch. The carvings usually dominate the piece with the silver-work providing discreet framing and even though the motif was taken up again in the post-1980 period, the later examples lack the vivacity of the old pieces...

This very early Matl / Matilde Poulat pendant is a rare find. Dating 1930's - 1940, this pendant is studded with turquoise and branch coral, with gorgeous birds and kneeling angels holding turquoise tipped candles. Measures just over 3" from top of bail to bottom, width is 2". A nice heft at 28.5 grams. Signed and hallmarked "MATL 0.980". Collector quality.

Elegant and "quiter" than most Matilde Poulat jewelry, this early repousse bracelet by the big maestra exhibits nonetheless all the attributes Matl's work is avidly sought after and venerated for. Repoussage that creates a body with impeccable texture and perfect finishing, a gorgeous golden sheen obsidian cabochon and, of course, the Mexico City style silver-work which to me represents Mexico's Arts and Crafts movement...

Beautiful early vintage Chinese apple jade beaded necklace with a very finely carved and pierced oval element mounted with prongs in a 14KT gold setting with a slide clasp. Circa 1930. Marked 14K and tests positive for 14KT gold.
