A truly spectacular sterling tufa cast ring with 14k gold saw tooth bezel set Carico Lake turquoise by Pala Mission-Cherokee jeweler and sculptor Larry Golsh. Many of his jewelry designs, such as this one, have been inspired by those of Hopi silversmith Charles Loloma. The ring is a size 6 and weighs 31 grams. The face of the ring measures 1 5/8" long. A striking sterling cuff bracelet with an amazing textured design by Navajo Harvey Begay (1938- 2009). He is the son of noted silversmith Kenneth Begay. When a teenager, he worked alongside his father at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. He opened his own shop in Steamboat Springs, CO. which he operated with his wife from 1972- 79. A very good set of silver and turquoise watch tips by noted Navajo silversmith Benson Boyd. Each tip is decorated with “chip inlay” of turquoise accented with punched decoration. Chip inlay is typical of Boyd’s work. The tips are attached to a stainless steel band with a deployment clasp. Each tip is stamped with Boyd’s mark. The tips were originally purchased in Denver in 1976.

Extraordinary vintage sterling and red coral petit point earrings by Zuni Edith Tsatbetsaye , circa 1970. Many silversmiths created petit point pieces but this silversmith took the art to an extreme. The slender marquis petite points are cut with a semi-circular high domed arch that is her trademark. These earrings measure 7/8" by 3/4" and have posts for pierced ears. Circa mid-century, this is a seldom seen design from Margot de Taxco. The original drawing is shown in "Margot Van Voorhies : The Art of Mexican Enamelwork", and is called "Intricate Knot". A classic, heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by David Webb. The front faces are rectangular with canted corners highlighted with opaque blue and white enamel. The smaller back faces are hinged and have solid blue enamel. The connectors are marked "Webb 18K".

A very fine pair of double-sided cufflinks by Seaman Schepps. Each of the faces is made from a single blue sapphire that has been tumbled rather than faceted, and then set in a framework of curling gold wirework. The setting is substantial, yet its delicacy allows the rich violet-blue color and internal characteristics of the sapphires to take center stage. Schepps was among the earliest of American jewelry designers to use cabochon and tumbled stones as primary gemstones...

A fine pair of Boucheron cufflinks worked in 18K yellow gold, the oval faces centered with richly-colored citrines. The gold surfaces are worked in a wavy ridged pattern, and the citrines are ingenuously fantasy-cut in the same style. The quality of workmanship is evidenced in the manner in which the carving of the citrines matches exactly to the ridges of the gold settings where the two meet. THe backs are hinged. A classic pair of Hermes 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the "Etrier" design. Each hinged end is in the form of a stirrup. The connectors are signed "Hermes", have serial numbers and are fully marked with appropriate French 18K gold marks. Etrier cufflinks in gold are no longer available at Hermes. The same design in sterling silver currently retails for $970. A similar design in gold, but with no moveable parts currently retails for $4750.

A handsome and heavy pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with lapis plaques. The exposed gold borders give the cufflinks a modernist feel. The stones have nice, deep coloring with small flecks of pyrite. The faces are joined with removable connectors. Both the connectors and the backs of the faces are marked with Continental 18K gold hallmarks.
