Very nice pair of Victorian 14K gold cufflinks in the Arts & Crafts or Aesthetic style. The simple engraved decoration of the gold faces, suggestive of a Celtic design, is typical of jewelry in the Aesthetic taste, as is the use of matrix gemstones such as turquoise. A handsome man’s ring featuring a large lapis lazuli cabochon set in a 10K yellow gold mounting decorated at either side of the crown with a sword, shield and victor’s laurel wreath. This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays a very colorful, large, faux fire opal on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each link measures approximately 1 1/8" x 1". It is sterling silver and marked on the clasp: STERLING MEXICO 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO with the "spread eagle" assay mark in the middle.
