This wonderfully unique pin, c. 1950’s, is by Perli Werkstatt of Germany. It is skillfully handcrafted with its crater design and organic texture. It is signed “Perli 800” and something else I cannot make out. Its diameter is 1 1/4”. It’s in excellent condition.

A gorgeous Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover designed with what appears to be a flower with ornately ruffled petals. Closer inspection, however, reveals that the flower petals are actually the flowing hair of a woman whose face can be seen at the upper portion of the locket. The design is even completed with pistils and stamens. "Anthropomorphism"--the merging of human and animal or human and plant characteristics was a popular decorative element in the Art Nouveau period...

A handsome pair of double-sided 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the round faces featuring an ornate pattern of woven gold “threads”. The faces are joined by chains. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked with French 18K gold marks and with an unidentified maker’s mark.

Bearing the signature of Pedro Castillo this bracelet is, for me, a fusion of classic Taxco "arhaeological" as well as modernist elements. The overlay is immaculately crafted - one would never expect less from a Castillo - and the design lends itself to several readings...

Formed as parrots with flowing tails, with sharply molded detail. One clip mechanism is slightly loose, but both are in good working order, with a patent application number that dates to 1931. The backs bear the Los Castillo/Taxco/Made in Mexico marks, as well as the design number of 168A. Each bird measures 1 7/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches at the widest part. Gross weight: 26.6g

This is a pre-1948 Garcia repousse bracelet that is 1.25in. wide and 7in. long. The barrels are straight and there are no dents. The weight is 52 grams and it is made of thick silver. It feels heavy to the hand. The patina is really warm and the stones have mellowed with age and are a wonderful mix of blue greens. The piece fits more like a bangle and these links are longer than most links at 1.75in. each and are rounded to make a perfect shape for the wrist...

Valentin Vidaurreta signed pieces are extremely elusive and highly coveted. This bracelet is collector quality. It's a book piece design, shown with obsidian stones on p. 113 of "Mexican Silver", and p. 152 of "William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance". Vidaurreta was extremely talented. He was an artist, illustrator, horticulturist, amateur architect, and silver designer...

The "Silver by Tono" hallmark dates this supremely rare piece 1948-1953. This is a book-piece design, shown on p. 89 of Silver Seduction. Composed of two fuchsia flowers with hand-carved jade along with leaves, the larger flower dangles to allow this pin different looks depending on how the pin is hung...

This elegant 14Kt yellow gold band is set with 4 natural round faceted sapphires and 15 brilliant cut channel set diamonds. The stones create a pattern that goes ¾ of the way around and the band finished with a square shank. The approximate weight of the 4 sapphires is 0.25Ct, while the approximate total weight of the 15 diamonds is 0.30Ct. The band is a size 5 and can be sized within limits.

This graceful festoon or garland necklace features seed pearls set in 10kt yellow gold, with pearls included in the draping chains, and a pearl dangle. Perfect for a bride, bridesmaid, or really anyone wishing for an elegant necklace for any occasion! The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (we have gold necklace extenders if needed). The decorated section measures 1-1/4” x 3/4” including the dangle. It is in very good antique condition...

Sterling silver and 14 karat gold bangle bracelet, set with three pearls and three rubies, each mounted in yellow gold. The gems are set equidistant from one another. The pearls are deeply lustrous and have a fine, faint pink tint. The pear-shaped rubies are also of good color and clarity. The pearls are 6mm in diameter; the rubies are approximately 4mm x 2mm. Ca. 1950's.

A vintage 1920’s oval shell cameo depicting a young lady with flowers in her hair and a heart shaped necklace with a 0.03Ct single cut diamond set in a 14kt white gold filigree frame. The cameo is a broach with a fold down swivel that makes it wearable as a pendant. The cameo measures 48 X 36 millimeters and the measurements of the broach are 1 ¾” wide and 2 1/16” high.

Look dashing at the party or office wearing this fanciful vintage gold tone reindeer tie pin. Straight out of the 50's. Cast and finely detailed, this piece of American costume jewelry was made by the Ballou Company featuring a red rhinestone eye and curly antlers, signed Ballou Reg'd on pinch lock.
