A huge Continental blue aurora borealis rhinestone brooch and matchingclip on earrings circa 1950s. The 3" across brooch and 1-1/8" x 1/2" earrings are unmarked but are undoubtedly by Continental. This pin features a dynamic abstract design comprised of an elongated piece of amber set in a similarly shaped silver frame. A silver wire applied to the back surrounds the piece evokes a ‘space-age’ sense of movement. The pin is marked 835 on the back for silver content; the mark is accompanied by an impressed abstract fish, probably for the Fischland workshop of Georg and Walter Kramer. The pin measures 2 ½ inches long by about ¾ inch at its widest part.

A beautiful 18K gold ring containing a miniature portrait of a pretty young girl wearing a bicorn hat. The painting is surrounded with authentic seed pearls.

The condition of the painting itself, and the ring, is excellent. The blue section showing in the photo of the underside is a bit of tape that was used to allow a snugger fit for the finger of a previous owner. The front of the ring measures 1 1/8" by 7/8". The ring is a size 7 1/2.

This bracelet is adorned with an oval, bezel-set, onyx stone that measures 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8". It has a hook-clasp. It is marked 925 MEXICO TM-192 (possibly, 152). It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Beautiful early vintage Chinese carnelian beaded necklace with graduated large oblong beads with silvertone spring ring clasp. 1930s. The beads have great surface variations and shaded colors. 88 grams. This necklace has been professionally restrung on silver color soft flex wire for security. 22 inches wearable length and the largest bead is 22mm by 15mm. The smalles beads are 8mm by 7mm. Beads are in excellent condition...

This very Victorian grooming chatelaine is from the 1800s. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements: a tweezers, one for cleaning nails, and an ear-cleaning device. (We saw a similar chatelaine on eBay, and the ear-cleaning implement was advertised as a device for opium users, but we don’t think so! However, as non-opium users, we could be wrong ….) It is unmarked but tests positive for silver, and with a patina consistent with age...

Based on one of William Spratling's most classic, early designs this Mexican Deco silver and amethyst ring is an anonymous beauty from the same period the renowned designer was active. Lean and mean in its constitutive motifs, it nevertheless packs a powerful visual punch what with the mysterious depths of its cloudy cabochon and the curves of the beading on either side of the stone...

An elegantly tailored design is evident in this 14Kt white gold and diamond ring. Three blue and three white, brilliant cut diamonds are channel set across the top of the straight line design. The ring is very versatile because it can be worn by men or women alike. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.36Ct. The ring is a size 8 ½ but it can easily be sized if needed.

A stunning Art Nouveau medallist brooch depicting Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, and patron of the arts, in 18K gold. The goddess is depicted with several of her attributes, including a dragon-topped war helmet, a wreath of olive leaves, an owl, and a drama mask representing the arts. Her helmet is studded with a star-set ruby and a band of rose-cut diamonds and she wears a necklace of rose-cut diamonds. This design was created by Louis Armand Rault, a lead designer for Boucheron 1868-75...

Striking and unusual this vintage sterling silver and amethyst ring was designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico & American artist William Spratling(1900-67).
