Two-piece sterling buckle with woman's head & hair made by UNGER BROTHERS, Newark, c.1905. Each piece measures approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/8" high and the total width is 2 7/8". Woman has period art nouveau face, hair, and a rose set in the hair. Signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" but is a bit hard to read. Handmade and repouseed. Excellent vintage condition

A lovely and very unusual 18K yellow gold, rock crystal, mother of pearl and aventurine glass ("goldstone") locket. The locket is constructed as a beveled oval frame of aventuring enclosing a pair of rock crystal windows, one of which opens to allow access to the inside of the locket. A mother-of-pearl plaque can be left in place so two photos can be displayed or removed so the locket can hold a lock of hair or a pressed flower. This is the only aventurine locket we have seen...

 

A vintage Taxco pin pendant with maker's mark of "FLC" inside a circle: "Taxco Mexico Sterling 925" and assay # 3. Could this be by a Castillo family member? Multi color gem fish, micro inlay around a very modernist fish pendant pin combination.

An outstanding Victorian 14K yellow gold hinged bangle bracelet worked with a double buckle motif enhanced with opaque royal blue enamel and seed pearls. The buckle is further set off with a corset-lacing motif. The gold of the buckles is polished, but the bangle has the softer semi-matte finish of bloomed gold. The overall design is stately, yet not oversized. The interior is stamped "14K".

Brooch in the style of Pal Kepenyes, bronze and black enamel. Kepenyes, a sculptor of Hungarian origin, moved to Mexico in the 1960’s. His jewelry is in the rough or “brutalist” style of the time. Unreadable signature near the pin needle. Width "1 ¾ / 4.6 cm. Condition: fine.

This simple yet elegant 14Kt yellow gold jade signet ring can be worn by men and women alike. The 12 X 8 millimeter oval cabochon jade is bezel set. Dimensional 2-sided squared design with interesting cuts and shapes, the pendant has a cabochon oval onyx stone backed in silver hanging freely. A silver filigree pin brooch with a blue glass cabochon stone from the 1930s. This 1-5/8 x 15/16" sterling silver pin features a lapis lazuli style glass cabochon in blue with gold flecks and it has the original c-clasp. It weighs 9.2 grams and it has an unidentified silver and maker's mark. This pin is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear to the stone...

These teardrop-shaped earrings feature purple, grey, violet and black feathers enclosed between pieces of resin or a clear composite. A cut-out zigzag design reveals the feathers through the sterling silver frame. The earrings show some tarnish; they have not been aggressively cleaned to avoid damaging the inserts. The screwbacks are in good working order; one exhibits the eagle 3 mark for Mexican sterling, the other, an unidentified geometrical maker’s mark...
