A lovely pair of classic Victorian earrings in the Etruscal Revival style featuring free-hanging drops of rich violetish-blue drops of lapis lazuli. The 15K yellow gold mountings are enhanced with twisted wire and bead decoration. The lapis is of the finest Afghan quality, with even color and only one tiny fleck of pyrite. The wires are marked "15 Ct".

Origin: England, ca. 1860. Condition: excellent, all original. Dimensions: length from top of wire, 1-3/4".

An abstract sterling silver and exotic wood pendant suspended from the original riveted chain by NYC studio jeweler, Henry Steig.

The pendant measures 3" long including the bale and 1 1/4" across. The 18" chain is made up of flattened sterling bars connected with rivets. Has a hook closure. Has a very industrial feel.

Signed on the underside of the pendant with Steig Sterling. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

This DeNicola Aires brooch is gold plated base metal, with rhinestones, non-vitreous enameling and faux jade(thermoplastic). This brooch is 2 3/8" x 1 3/8" .

This brooch is unsigned. The cartouche with the name is missing or never put on . DeNicola figural brooches often have the star which is the difining characteristic of the designer in this series of 12 brooches. I have seen this item listed as hight as $750.00

A fine pair of late Victorian 14K yellow gold bean-back cufflinks, the front faces decorated with ornately fashioned coiled snakes. The gold surface is treated to the soft, semi-matte bloomed finish sometimes seen in Victorian and Art Nouveau jewels. Kirby seemed particularly partial to snakes and produced several different serpent designs for cufflinks. In Victorian symbology, snakes conveyed sentiments of eternal love. This disc pin features a large faceted citrine in a bold prong setting. The stone has a light yellow-brown tinge and shows no signs of damage or wear. It is quite secure in its mount. The disc has a warm patina from age; the piece dates conservatively 1960-1970. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears the marks for Mexican silver (eagle 42, circular 925 Sterling) as well as the maker’s mark for Los Ballesteros. There appears to have been a pendant bale or hook that has been removed...

This pair of 10kt yellow gold cuff links, sporting an ivy motif, is a favorite of ours! Both because they are pretty, and because of ivy is symbolic of marriage and friendship. Sweet! An intricately designed 14K yellow gold chain comprised of a double row of reeded oval links enhanced at regular intervals with engraved acanthus leaf plaques. Here is a brightly colored, enamel Panda Bear charm: so cute. It measures 7/8" x 7/8". The back of the charm is marked MEXICO 925 and eagle 15 mark. Although eagle number 15 was used by such famous silversmiths as Los Castillo and Antonio Pineda, this piece was very, very likely to have been made by Castelan, who used only eagle number 15 and did some work with silver and enamel (although, he worked mostly with just sterling silver)...

A fine pair of Edwardian 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as pairs of coiled snakes. Two of the snakes have an old European cut diamond set into its head, while the other two have a round emerald. In Victorian symbology, the coiled snake represented eternity, and a pair of snakes coiled together suggested “eternal love.” The snaked as attached by chains to baton backs worked in a twisted motif, itself suggestive of the coiled snakes. Swiss Silver Niello & Gilt Silver Watch Chain An excellent late Victorian silver watch chain with striped niello decoration on the double bar links, alternating with silver gilt curb links. The chain is finished at one end with a dog clip and at the other with a large niello bolt. The chain is stamped with the Swiss mark for 800 silver used 1882-1934.
