Design measures 5/8" high and 5/8" across. Ring measures about a 7 and can be adjusted up or down.

The C-clasp is secure; the pin stem is struck with a special Hungarian mark used from 1937-1999 indicating a piece that may have left the country temporarily, as for an exhibition. This sterling stork has a curly tail, leaves for feet and angel like wings. The body is a very large kite shaped reversed carved blue rhinestone. All of this in a sterling setting. A pair of vintage brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, one in the shape of a 6 pointed star and the other a whale. Great hammered textures.

The whale measures 3 1/8" long and 5/8" wide. The star measures 1 3/8" across and 1 1/4" high.

Both are marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. The clasps hold securely. They are in fine condition with some minor scratches. Warm patina.

A pair of vintage sterling silver heart shaped earrings by Peggy Ackerly, (1921-2011), who apprenticed with Sam Kramer from 1943-64. Ackerly helped design and execute many of Kramer's most iconic pieces. These earrings are post 1968, when she began using the conjoined MA mark for Margaret Ackerly.
