An interesting pair of cufflinks carved from pieces of coral and shaped as koi. Each fish has the distinctive ruffled tail fins that are typical of the species. The fronts are joined with silvered chains to the backs which are simple pieces of coral branch. The color is very nice and is completely natural.

This beautiful pin / brooch by Askel Holmsen has a diameter of 1 1/8". It is sterling vermeil with vivid, yellow enamel (basse-taille or guilloche) with a great design. The back is marked NORWAY STERLING, the Holmsen maker's mark / hallmark NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark which looks like 2 interlocking, horizontal V's: the are actually 2 overlapping silversmith tools. Famous design by Nanna Ditzel for Georg Jensen in 18K, Denmark, c.1960. Nanna Ditzel passed away in 2005. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 15 grams), this minimal modernist design is size 5 1/2 and is 1 1/4" high at center edge. Signed "GEORG JENSEN 750 18K 1091 DENMARK", it is in very good condition except for a few wear lines, tiny scratches, and a tiny dent on the edge of the ring. Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector. This beautifully executed pendant is circle shaped and features a youthful Mercury wearing a winged helmet surrounded by eight marcasite stars, hinged at the base, reverse side with script monogram EMJ. A very fine Art Deco 14K yellow gold necklace of filigree links centering a collet-set carved jadeite disc suspending another filigree link and a large oval plaque of jadeite carved in a floral pattern. The workmanship of the filigree is superior, with finely detailed millegraining on nearly all the surfaces. A wonderful Art Deco 14K yellow gold baton-link long chain, studded at intervals with oval moss agate cabochons.
