A pair of fine shakudo ornaments originally mounted in Victorian times as a pair of cuff buttons, and then re-imagined by our jeweler as an elegant split-chain pendant necklace. The two plaques feature a court lady and gentleman in Meiji-period costume. After the collapse of the feudal Samurai system in Imperial Japan, Europeans collected old sword and armor fittings such as these to set as jewelry. The mountings and chain are 14K.

A wonderful Skonvirke 830S silver brooch by the well regarded Danish silversmith, Evald Nielsen, (1879-1958).

Measures 2 5/8" long and 5/8" at the widest. Has one central dark purple cabochon. Very light, delicate hammering, beautiful repousse work. Marked 830S for the Danish silver standard and the stylized EN mark on the back. Has an older rollover clasp which holds securely. Very fine condition, with minor tarnish.

Anyone looking for an antique diamond engagement ring, this is the ring you should look at. Dating back to the 1920-s is this beautifully created openwork 18Kt white gold six-prong basket setting that holds a 1.09 Ct old-mine diamond. The diamond is not certified, but our in-house gemologist graded it to be L color and VS2 clarity. This stone has a lot of sparkle, and the setting enhances that look. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. Dramatic & eye catching, this vintage 1950's onyx & sterling silver bracelet was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda. A tiny enameled violet and a free-hanging baroque freshwater pearl enhance the dainty 10K gold pendant, complete with a curb link chain. This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar. The maker's signature is partially obscured, so that the first initial 'S.' is clear, as is the end of the name, 'gli.'...
