Being offered is a circa 1960 .970 silver (better than sterling) necklace by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico, comprising heavy gauge silver crossing arches with teardrop amethysts; tongue and box clasp. Marked. In excellent condition.

Set with nine square, faceted faux garnets mounted in closed-back settings. The pin features an openwork silver frame nicely detailed with molded flowers and beads. The silver retains a light layer of gilding; the glass pieces are in lovely condition with points substantially intact. On the reverse are some indentations that may be obscured marks and signs of a removed watch hook. The C-clasp is quite sturdy and secure. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches across. The dating is conservative.

A vintage sterling silver traditional cross on a 20" later sterling silver rope chain with a lobster claw clasp. The cross measures 2-1/4" x 1-5/8", and is stamped and tests as .925/sterling silver.
