A delicate but sturdily made openwork pin designed with a scrolled top set with faceted red glass. It has a modified C-clasp and is marked for .800 silver. There is also what appears to be the German word “geschützt” (roughly meaning “registered”) and an intertwined mark that looks like an R within a larger G. The pin stem is of brass and is marked “Metall.” There is a tiny nick to the glass stone, visible only with magnification. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches long...

This sterling silver pin is formed as a Mexican peasant lugging a large basket of fruit on his back. It is deeply molded and enhanced with oxidation and of hollow construction. The sturdy clasp features a machine-age look, and the pin stem has a lever that causes it to spring open when released. Margot de Taxco, Margot van Voorhies Carr shows off sheer genius in this 5127 design. Rare and 1.25in. wide make you stop and take a longer look. Heavy at approximately 70 grams of repousse swirls and beads which make an abstract image of swans swimming. Anything that looks like a dent is reflection or a spot of tarnish. This is an incredibly clean bracelet.

An original Retro period, amethyst and diamond ring is set in 14Kt yellow gold. The 18 X 10 millimeter oval cabochon amethyst is prong set and is further enhanced by 3 single-cut diamonds set on top of the solid shank that spits into three on one side of the ring.
