A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. A three dimensional design with overlapping flowers.

Measures about 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" high including the bale. In very nice condition with a dark patina, we did not polish it.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S on one side of the bale and Finland on the other side. Fine example of Kauppi's work.

Two pairs of ceramic clip earrings, 1940-50’s, scallop shells in blue and green. Condition: fine.

This nifty, solid charm is 3D and stands 7/8" tall. The diameter of the bottom is 3/8". It has a great likeness to the decorative bottle of the smooth, dry, red wine. It is marked (what looks like) J2 AR and 800.

This dramatic disk pin features a hammered surface decorated with applied wire in a stylized floral design. A framed dome graces the center and four applied beads enhance the edges of the wire work design. It has a secure trombone clasp and brass pin stem, both original to the piece. The piece is unmarked but tests definitively for silver, likely .800 or .830 and appears European in design. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Gross weight: 20.8 grams

Beautifully crafted Marcel Boucher pin. Very three dimensional. Note the clear rhinestone collar that gives this little bird class and character. Gold plated. Says Boucher on back of tail feathers. Boucher series number also on back but is illegible. 3 1/4" long, 7/8" wide.

Bright 14k opal heart pendant necklace and earrings(pierced) in original hard case box(marked 14k), c.1950's. Real opals, not doublets. The NECKLACE is an open gold heart(3/4" long) and holds an oval opal(approx.4 carats) on an 18" gold chain. The EARRINGS are for pierced ears and are signed "14K". This stunning bracelet is composed of an applied cast floral layer on a plain, hinged bangle bracelet, with a secure tongue-and-groove clasp and security chain. The tongue bears French import marks that guarantee a silver content of at least .800, and probably dates anywhere from the 1930s to the 1950s. The bangle measures about ½ inch wide with an internal circumference of just under 7 inches. Gross weight: 28.4 grams

This wonderful, little pin / brooch depicts a map of The Province. It reads NOVA SCOTIA in sterling silver, including the Nova Scotia Peninsula, (Nova Scotia, Canada), its bays and other bodies of water. Ca1955 A stunning one- of- a- kind floral necklace with matching clip-on earrings.It features a large multi-dimensional flower with rhinestones, pearls and black enamel leaves. A black glass accent is on the necklace. There is very light wear on the black enamel and one small pearl is missing on an earring. The front of the necklace measures 3-1/2" x 2" and is attached to a 17" snake chain.The clip-on earrings are 1-1/2" round and snap shut tightly. All marked CORO.

This great pin / brooch, circa 1950's, has a nice mod design. It measures 2" x 1 1/2". It features a mod foliate, floral and leafy motif, with buds. The "buds" are onyx cabochons. The back is marked TAXCO STERLING 925 in a circle with the artist's / silversmith's initials LC in the middle. This piece is in great condition and weighs 14 grams / .5 ounces.

This unusual sterling silver ring was designed by Frank Patania Sr. in the 1950's. The ring size is a 7 1/2. It measures 1 3/8" tall X 3/4" & is in excellent condition with a warm, aged patina. The beautiful turquoise stone is bezel set. Patania hallmarks are FP, STERLING, & the THUNDERBIRD Shop logo.

Very unusual and fine 14 K yellow gold crab brooch with a large natural turquoise cabochon and natural ruby eyes. In mint condition, it dates circa 1950's and measures 2.25 inches wide by 1.5". Excellent detailing.

A nice pair of vintage 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as a pair of discs joined by a diamond-shaped reserve. Each of the discs is engraved in a starburst motif, while the reserves feature oval star sapphire cabochons. The sapphires have good translucency and even, grayish-blue coloring. The stars are very distinct, bright and well-centered. The backs are marked "14K".

A 10k yellow spinel gold ring from the 1950s. This vintage size 7-3/4 or 7.75 yellow gold ring features a claw-set faceted 5/16" x 1/4" across pale yellow spinel. The spinel is an emerald cut gem stone and this ring weighs 2.4 grams. One of the claws comes up above the ring in a lined curl, sort of in an abstract modernist wave design, a bit of an unusual assymetrical look...

Hand stamped coin silver belt, Navajo or Dine, pre-1960, good weight with precise stamped designs, unsigned. Measures 30" x 1", buckle is 1 7/8" x 1 1/4". Each section is slightly curved both horizontally and vertically. X shaped spacers connect with rings set into looped bands, and fastener is a simple clip that fits into a loop. This brooch represents "Spring" from the "Four Seasons" line designed for David-Andersen by Thorbjorn Lie-Jorgensen in the late 1950s. This fine Modernist Bracelet by Antonio Pineda features open work links with two panels overlapping creating a unique design. Measuring 7 1/2" long by 1 1/8" wide and it weighs a heavy 126.6 grams. It has a secure box clasp with an attached safety chain and shows only light age related wear and tarnish. Hallmarked with the Antonio Crown, Taxco, JVL and the eagle 208. This early Antonio Pineda bracelet is quite rare and all out spectacular. His "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates 1948-1953. Eight teardrop amethyst cabs in almost pure silver panels which alternate up and down, each separated by four silver balls. Pin closure. Weight is 98.9 grams. Measures 8" end to end, width 1 1/4". Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4". Signed and hallmarked "Silver By Tono Mexico". In excellent vintage condition.

A great collection of three vintage Navajo handmade round sterling boxes with elaborate stamping. All of the lids pull off. The box with the star top measures 2 1/4" diameter, 1 1/8" high and weighs 56 grams. The box with the turquoise stone is 2 1/4" diameter, 3/4" high and weighs 49 grams. The box with the round silver dome is 2 1/4" diameter, 1/2" high and weighs 45 grams. They are unsigned. All are in fine original condition and free of dents or dings...

Spratling often used an arrow or an arrowhead in his designs. Here he pairs 925 sterling silver with matte onyx in each arrowhead link for an eye-catching combination. This brooch is unsigned. The cartouche with the name is missing or never put on . DeNicola figural brooches often have the star which is the difining characteristic of the designer in this series of 12 brooches. I have seen this item listed as hight as $750.00

We have an Antonio Pineda Onyx tear drop vintage bracelet that is a wearable length of 7.25in. and a striking 1.75in. tall. These Mexican bracelets were made in relationship to the size of the stones that were obtained and this is one of the tallest tear drops I have found. The weight is 120 grams heavy and is collector and museum quality.

This is a properly signed Antonio Pineda with an inside diameter of 2.5in. and a face front height of 15/16 of an inch. The past was filled with owners who took great care with it as there is no damage, chips or cracks but you may see glare from our photography creating spots or color difference etc. The stones appear to be onyx but could be a no sheen obsidian. The silver is thick and heavy at 74 grams. A fantastic piece for collectors that can dress up your wardrobe and become your go to brace...

These unmarked Mexican earrings feature lacy wirework on a half-moon-shaped frame. They test strongly for silver and sit perpendicular to the ear. They date from the 1950s and are secured by kidney wires with hooks. They measure 1 3/8 inches long by ¾ inch wide. Weight: 7 grams total

We are offering an Antonio Pineda bracelet with pearl and amethyst set inside the tulip shaped links. The amethyst used are a very translucent, fine quality cabachon and what you see inside the stone is being picked up around it in reflection. The length is 7in. wearable and it is one inch tall. Properly hallmarked as shown with a weight of 102 grams heavy. This is such a beautiful piece and one that is seldom seen. No damage of any kind.

Vintage pearl and sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet measures 6 1/4" long X 5/8" wide. Hallmarked with Antonio crown, Taxco, 970 and eagle. The design features 11 pearls each set within a round oxidized silver cup. Each cup framed by a thick silver square. This necklace has a classic form and, in certain light, looks to be plated in two colors of gold. A visit to Maisel’s Trading Post was de rigueur for tourists visiting New Mexico before the store closed in the late 1960s after Mr. Maisel’s death. (It was later reopened in 1980 by a grandson, but closed again in 2019.)
