This chain is nicely hand-constructed with applied cast curled pieces that are reminiscent of the applied and hand-worked French chains of the turn of the 20th century. This one appears to be a bit later; the beading looks to have been cast with the rest of the elements and connected with hand-formed S-shaped links. A pair of double-sided cufflinks, the faces fashioned from navette-shaped plaques of lapis lazuli simply set in 14K yellow gold. The coloring is very even, with no hint of white in the stone. The lapis has an unusual matte finish which provides a sophisticated look. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. A very uniquely shaped broach/pendant is this 14Kt white gold filigree shell cameo from the 1920-s depicting the silhouette of a young lady. Art nouveau elements are incorporated in the designs of the cameo carving as well as the shape of the broach resembling a flower basket. This 10Kt yellow gold bar pin from the 1910-s is centered by a hexagonal faceted 6 millimeter pink tourmaline. The delicately designed open work bar pin has a safety catch; it is 2” long and 7/16” wide.

A finely crafted late Art Nouveau 18K gold ring in the form of a lion’s head clasping an old European cut diamond in its jaws. The engraving is very well done and displays great detail that extends halfway around the shank. The diamond is graded as H/VS1.
