This cool pendant / medallion has a great modernist design. It is a concave and convex disk with a radius of 2 inches. It hangs 13" from a link chain. The back is marked PEWTER Jorgen Jensen (in his script hallmark) HANDMADE DENMARK 158. Like all Jorgen Jensen pieces it displays the modernist style. It is in excellent condition.

One of my absolute favorite designs by Gerardo Lopez, this silver and copper "mask" necklace I have sold a few times during my career as a vintage Mexican jewelry dealer and I never tire of it! There is so much to attract the eye here and every time you look at it, you spot something new and exciting. Meticulously cut ornate sterling "frames", oxidized and embellished with overlay, surround the highly sculptural copper "masks"...

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams

One side oval, the other oblong; both sides are marked sterling. The bridge links are secure and the abalone is in nice condition, with no cracks or chips. The longer side measures ¾ inch long, the other measures ½ inch long.

Of the thousands of cufflinks we’ve handled over the years, this is the first pair of Art Nouveau bean-back cufflinks we’ve ever seen that have a matching design worked on both the primary face and the bean back. The 14K yellow gold links are worked with a repousse design of a maiden wearing an ornate headdress filled with the scrolls and whiplash curves typical of Art Nouveau design. The connectors are hallmarked by Krementz and are marked “14K”.

Magnificent KJL! It is gold plated metal, it is chunky, and it is very dramatic. This elegant necklace has the look of ancient times and was, perhaps, designed by Kenneth Lane in honor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Egyptian show in the 1970's. It fits like a choker and has the effect of a large bib. 14 1/2" inside length, front link is 3 3/4" top to bottom. It is thick and chunky.

A fascinating pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with square rock crystals. The crystals have concave circles in the center and the edges are finished with an oxidized surface that gives the impression of hematite. The clear circles reveal quirky, almost cartoon-like portraits of dogs that have very rigid demeanors like those often seen in 19th century portraits of people. These are not to be confused with reverse-carved Essex crystals...

A pair of pierced Mid Century Modern vintage sterling silver earrings with swish overlays on contrasting oxidized areas. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

A classic pair of Art Deco sterling silver stirrup cufflinks, the ends set with black onyx sugarloaf cabochons. This style of cufflink was popularized by Cartier in the 1920s. The cufflinks bear Swiss import hallmarks used until 1934, and are stamped "935" indicating that they have a slightly higher pure silver content than sterling silver.

Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

Fabulous heavy vintage Bakelite bangle in true black (did not start out as another color). Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed vintage and original. 1930s. A fine, unusual sterling silver and pearl two layered brooch in an abstract design. Inside layer has a darkened patina. Has three small pearls attached to the inside. Curved three dimensional design. Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Elegant Napoleon III circle brooch enclosing a delicate sprig of flowers set with 19 small rose-cut diamonds. The floral motif is worked in silver as was the practice in 19th century diamond jewelry. The white color of the metal was thought to show diamonds to their better advantage. The edges of the circle are beautifully pierced with a double gallery. The back retains the original extended pinstem and c-clasp, and back is marked with 19th century French hallmarks for 18K gold.

A classic pair of Art Deco 18K gold and lapis cufflinks by Gaetan de Percin, the jeweler responsible for most of the classic Hermes jewelry designs in the 1930s and 40s. This design is from that era. This festive necklace is composed of large, faceted Bakelite beads interspersed with round one. The necklace has been restrung with a new yellow metal spring-ring clasp and jump ring, so is quite secure. A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.
