A long necklace with silver and copper links and a central warrior shaped pendant in mixed metals attributed to Los Castillo.

The chain measures 24" long and has a hook clasp. The central pendant is made from married silver, copper, and brass metals and has an inlay of some kind of green stone. It measures 4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest.

Marked Hecho en Mexico on the reverse which is brass. Has some surface scratches and shows a little wear. We did not polish it...

This sterling Hobe bracelet with the peridot and ruby bezel set stones is wonderful. I have not had the stones tested. Each stone is set in a floral motif. It is hallmarked on the back "Hobe and sterling. It is 7 1/4" long x 1" and has a spring closure.

Victorian 14K yellow gold chain with brushed finish, chunky links approx 1/2 inch wide. Total length is 21 inches. Clasp is a removable spring ring (very hard to find, typical of Victorian period jewelry). Links are hollow, great condition, one link with slight dent (see photo), not noticeable when worn. Very modern looking. Amazing condition.

A very fine 18K gold brooch/pendant in the form of a mythological basilisk (cockatrice) pierced through with a jeweled sword. This example is entirely handmade and finished with expertly chased scales and feathers. The quality of workmanship is superb. The wings are formed separately and arranged in a manner that gives the piece great dimensionality. The outer wing is set with a round ruby of very fine color and clarity and the eye is set with a tiny cabochon ruby...

A nice pair of sterling silver stirrup cufflinks, the ends set with black onyx sugarloaf cabochons. This style of cufflink was popularized by Cartier. The cufflinks bear Swiss import marks used until 1934 and are stamped "935", indicating that they have a slightly higher pure silver content than sterling silver.

I love the flair of the bifurcated element at the top with its curvaceous central semi-sphere which mirrors the sculptural elegance of the teardrop. This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures just under 7 1/2" long. Each of the 7 links are bezel-set with colorful abalone. They are shaped like upside down triangles, similar to the later, carved, Aztec mask jewelry. Each link is surmounted on the classic Taxco, Mexico square of 4 round beads / balls. The back is marked ANR 925; but, it was stamped in reverse, see pictures. This great piece is circa 1920's to 1940's.

A vintage modernist brooch by noted African American mid century jeweler, Winifred Mason Chenet in copper with 5 dangles. This rare and early brooch was done when she just signed her work Mason, prior to adding the Chenet d'Haiti in the early 1950s.

A nice example of an openwork diamond cluster ring is this 14Kt two tone beauty. The 14Kt yellow gold shank and base holds the 13 millimeter diameter 14K white gold cluster that is set with one brilliant-cut and eight single-cut diamonds. This Antonio Pineda tie bar is a wonderful example of his quality, modernist artistry. It is concave with a central bezel-set, oval amethyst cabochon. It is marked "ANTONIO TAXCO" (in crown), "970" and co-stamped with Los Castillo Cooperativo marks: "LOS CASTILLO SOC COOP SCL" in a circle with "SEC 2" inside (this Coop mark is double-struck--see pictures) and eagle mark "58." A fine Victorian 18K yellow gold locket of modified kite shape in the Etruscan Revival style.
