A beautiful and rare bracelet by the very important Fred Davis. It has a unique design with high set Amethyst cabochon stones set in round silver links. Beautiful geometric design bracelet with a center genuine amethyst stone. Circa 1960. Marked LOS CASTILLO, TAXCO, design number 5, and with the eagle assay mark. Slide clasp. It weighs 78 grams. This great 3-piece set (parure, suite) has a modernist design, with leaves swirling into buds. The brooch is also a pendant. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is marked TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING 925 Assay Mark 3 and V.A. (for the silversmith). The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1/2" x 1 1/4", marked TAXCO V.A., as well. This 3-piece set is in great condition and has a good heft.

A wonderful example of the cc. 1910 era jewelry of this stick pin, set with a lively fiery 3 X 5 millimeter oval cabochon opal. The edge of the stick pin is decorated by circle like designs. Any lapel accentuated by this pin would look great. The pin is marked with the maker’s mark S – M and 14K.

An outstanding sterling silver pendant, wire neck collar and earrings from Denmark, designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen in the highly sought after bark design.

The thick curled pendant with a bark like texture measures 2 5/8" long and almost 1 1/2" across. Wire collar measures about 15" around. Could be used with an extender if needed. Collar has a secure hook closure. The pendant and wire collar are both marked 925S KVA Denmark...

A sassy dragon curled around a large amethyst-colored brilliant (yes, it’s glass) hides the hook that turns this into a watch pin. He has a dark red cabochon eye (probably also glass) and a colorless brilliant in his mouth. The pin is unmarked and is 1” by ¾” in size. The metal is vermeil (gold over silver). A round hinge and eared clasp suggest an age of late 1800s or early 1900s, but the exact age is unknown.

This large, sterling silver, pendant is most unusual, c. 1960’s. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 7/8". It is a stylized scale, made of heavy gauge silver. Going along with the abstract motif, the large amber “drop” is more like an amorphous bulb of oranges, yellows, and reds, changing with the lighting. The "relics" housed by the amber are also visible. It is marked 925. It weighs just over 1 ounce / approximately 29 grams and is in excellent condition.

One of the best and largest silver pins by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. Beautiful repouseed floral pin showing play between oyxidized deep lines and shiny surface silver. This is one of our very favorite lavaliers! It is quintessential Art Nouveau. It depicts a flower with an amethyst at its center, with the classic whiplash motif. Nice and long at 27 1/2", this mid-century Antonio Pineda pendant necklace features a starburst design pendant with turquoise colored stones. The pendant itself measures 2 1/2" tall, just under 2" wide. Both pendant and chain are marked with with Antonio Taxco crown, and the chain can be worn on its own or with another pendant. These amethyst earrings have no hallmarks. They were converted to posts, and whatever marks were present are now gone. The design is one which I've only seen from Matilde Poulat. Amethysts are gorgeous, perfectly matched in color with natural inclusions. Each earring measures 1 1/16" x 7/8". Weight is 21.1 grams. No dings, dents, dimples. Amethyst are free of any cracks or chips.

The dramatic focus of this 1970s necklace is a pendant of applied molten sterling silver on a trapezoidal frame. It is set with small jade and onyx cabochons, as well as one moonstone bead. It is suspended from a handmade sterling neckring with a hook and button clasp. The pendant and neckring are marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. A beautiful pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold and natural green chalcedony cufflinks by Krementz. The cut-cornered rectangular faces are set with plaques of vivid green chalcedony surrounded by borders decorated in an angular raised diamond pattern. Cufflinks set with green gemstones are difficult to find, and this is a particularly attractive pair. The connectors are stamped 14K and have the Krementz hallmark.

A very heavy 14K yellow gold tie bar set with a blue sapphire by Tiffany & Co. The classic design features engraved lines arranged in a sunburst pattern emanating from the gypsy-set sapphire at one end. This elegant, hand wrought set was designed by Taxco artist William Spratling in the early 1940's. The necklace measures 20 1/2" long & weighs 100 grams. Each link is 1" wide. The bracelet is 7" long X 1" wide and has it's original safety chain. It weighs 45 grams. Both pieces are in beautiful condition with a lovely, aged patina. Early 20th century silver and rhinestone or paste earrings, from Knoll & Pregizer in Pforzheim, Germany. K&P started up in 1887 and specialized in hand made sterling silver and imitation stones jewelry. The diameter of the little paste flowers is "1/4 / 8 mm, each with impressed KP shield mark and 925.
