An amazing sterling silver modernist brooch with a bark like texture thought to be designed by Finnish jeweler Helky Juvonen and produced by N. Westerback in 1973.

Measures 2" across and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Marked with 925 for the silver standard, NW for the maker, the National Mark and Date Code U7 for 1973.

In fine condition, very intricate and detailed. Dark patina. Weighs 19 gr. Wonderful example of modernist Scandinavian design.

Stunning vintage hinged bangle in openwork silver, with an angelskin coral carved rose surrounded by turquoise cabochons. The silver is worked in beautiful dimensional flower and foliate designs. Fine sterling and black enamel cuff links. They measure just under 1" x just under 1" x 1/8". The sterling swirls are a nice accent. The back of each is marked BETO TAXCO and ? in a circle with 925 in the middle. They also have the eagle mark with 3. They have good heft. A tiny piece of the sterling swirl is "pinched." A modernist lightly hammered sterling silver double wire neck collar by Ed Levin.

Measures 12" around with an opening of 2". Flexible so can be opened wider to put on. Sits just above the collar bone.

Circa 1940's, this large brooch is said to be named after Spratling's parrot "Lorenzo". It's a huge and spectacular pin, measuring 4 1/2" tall and 1 3/16" wide, with a weight of 49.4 grams.

This left facing parrot has a 1 1/2" long amethyst body and exquisite repoussé silver work. Pin closes with a roller. All original and collector quality.

A vintage 18K yellow gold and diamond ring in the "Tiffany Signature Series" created by Tiffany & Co. in 1992. The classic design is the form of three reeded bands studded with round brilliant-cut diamonds to create a sort of basketweave pattern. The diamonds are F/VVS1. The interior of the shank is marked "1992 Tiffany & Co. 750".

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks in a brushed finish with prong-set sapphires. The design of a cut-out triangle superimposed over a solid triangle creates a layered effect that lends a nice feeling of depth to the cufflinks. The toggle backs are marked "14K".

Circa mid-century, this Margot de Taxco ring has exquisite repoussé silver work with scrolls and tiny beading.

This is Margot's design #5337. The face of the ring measures 1 3/8" x 1", with a band that is adjustable. Current size is 9 1/4.

This sterling silver pin is formed as a Mexican peasant lugging a large basket of fruit on his back. It is deeply molded and enhanced with oxidation and of hollow construction. The sturdy clasp features a machine-age look, and the pin stem has a lever that causes it to spring open when released. The pin dates from 1950 through the 1930s and is marked Silver/Mexico on the reverse. It measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches at its widest part. Weight: 12.6 grams

Five large cabochons with pink banding are set in sterling silver frames that are deeply oxidized and embossed with a ridged design. They are linked by oblong rings that are similarly decorated. The highly polished stones are securely prong set and show no scratches or other signs of wear; they may be rhodochrosites, which were popular in the 1950s. The fold-over clasp is very secure and in good working order. The bracelet is unmarked, but tests definitively for sterling...

This pre-1948 bracelet is a huge, wide, weighty piece and a Fred Davis design. It's unsigned, marked simply "Silver Mexico".

The panels have a geometric design inspired by pre-Columbian clay stamps which Davis collected. You can see a similar Fred Davis bracelet with amethysts in my shop.

Handsome cufflinks with hexagonal faces linked by chains to torpedo backs. The faces are engraved with an intricate engine-turned design. The backs are marked with Finnish hallmarks for Helsinki. The maker’s mark is illegible, but the gold content is “890” which translates to around 21K.

Origin: Finland, circa 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, one torpedo has a few dings on the underneath side. Size: faces, 5/8” wide. Weight: 5.0 grams.

These quirky figural sterling silver pins and earrings are formed as separate head. While the faces are similar in their prominent features, one head wears a tall, pointed headdress, while the other wears a turban-like headpiece. Elegant Napoleon III 18K gold brooch in the Etruscan Revival taste. The pin is in bar form with pointed ends, interrupted in the middle by a round black onyx plaque centering a natural seed pearl. The domed setting around the onyx is set with six natural seed pearls. The pin on either side of the onyx plaque is decorated with an engraved Greek key design. The reverse is hallmarked with the "tete d'aigle" stamp for 18K gold and also with an unidentified jeweler's mark.

An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold and amber earrings, the square cabochon amber simply set in the gold frame. The prongs holding the amber become an important part of the overall design. The amber has fine, even coloring with a tinge of red, and superb clarity. The backs are stamped for 18K and with the maker’s mark for Laboratorio Ruber, Milan.

A really large and dramatic sterling silver Navajo bracelet by Rick Enriquez, with a large rectangular stone flanked by two full bodied lizards, the band heavily stamped with geometric Navajo designs, unsigned, acquired in Santa Fe before 1980. A signed Antonio Pineda bracelet that is thick and heavy at 125 grams. A 2.5in. diameter will fit most. I find the swinging framed rectangle links to be quite fabulous alone or worn with other great finds stacked. The bracelet lays right between the one inch mark in height. The presence of this Pineda treasure will be noticed dressed up or dressed down.

A classic pair of vintage 14K yellow gold cufflinks by Larter. The oval faces are collet-set with black onyx plaques inlaid with gold reserves decorated in a Florentine finish. The gold inlays are star-set with round brilliant cut diamonds of nice quality. The toggle backs are stamped with Larter’s hallmark and are also marked “14K”.

This 14K gold charm rotates, moves, spins, etc. It is the globe of the world including all the continents and bodies of water. The writing and drawing is by hand in, green, red and black. It stands 1" tall and is about 5/8" wide and is in excellent condition.

A fine pair of French Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the double faces in the form of snarling mythological griffins. The details are beautifully worked. Mythological beasts such as griffins, dragons and sphinxes were especially popular in Art Nouveau jewels by French makers. Each cufflink has one face that is smaller than the other so that it can more easily be slipped through the cuff hole. Each cufflink is hallmarked with the French “tete d’aigle”stamp for 18K.

A nice pair of mid-Victorian earrings worked in chocolate brown lava set with pearls in 14K yellow gold. The earrings are designed as two acorns flanking an elongated amphora form surmounted by a lady’s head. The girandole arrangement (three elements suspended from a single element at the top) is relatively rare among lava earrings. Archaeological Revival lava jewelry from Pompeii was a very prized souvenir of a wealthy visitor’s Grand Tour through Italy due to the ongoing excavations there ...

The rectangular panel of this silver pin has interesting, different textures on back and front. The panel is curved and scalloped along the top and bottom edges with tiny beads and blocks in the mold, creating a quite complex design. The cabochon chrysoprase is prong set above a circular opening, bisected with a flattened silver rod. The rollover clasp is secure; the back of the pin indicates .835 silver. The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long (including the rod) and 1 1/8 inches wide.
