A nice Victorian 14K gold by-pass bangle bracelet, the top adorned with a spray of wheat set with turquoise cabochons and tiny seed pearls. In the Victorian era, sprays of wheat were intended to represent “posperity.” At a time when a woman’s fortunes depended entirely upon those of her husband, a bracelet such as this may have been gifted for the wedding as a hope for the bride’s future prosperity. Vermeil or silver gilt shoe buckle set with paste, the setting arranged as a ribbon with a stripe of green enamel. French, c 1770-80, no visible hallmarks, but traces of an old assay to ascertain the silver content. Length "3/ 7.3 cm. Condition: wear to the enamel and to the gilt of the prongs (cf. pics).

Here are a pair of late 19th-century oval cuff buttons decorated with horseshoes of inlaid dyed black onyx. They are probably American; the round backs show a sterling mark and possible maker’s mark for Ludwig, Redlich & Co. of New York. The surface exhibits the warm patina of considerable age, but the inlay shows no loss. The backs are well soldered and secure. Each oval button measures about ¾ inch long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 5.2 grams total

A very attractive pair of Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold bean-back cufflinks, the oval faces decorated with a swirling motif centering pairs of beautifully-colored opals. The opals have very good play-of-color with a preponderance of green and blue with a hint of orange-red. The backs of the faces are stamped with an unidentified maker's mark.

A very nice pair of double-sided 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces featuring discs of mother-of-pearl surrounded by opaque white enameled borders and centered with small pearls set in platinum. The mother-of-pearl is very lustrous with nice overtones of green and rose. The white enamel borders are punctuated with small gold dots to relieve the all-white surfaces. Dating 1930's - 40's, this amethyst bracelet from Fred Davis pulls out all the stops. The repoussé silver work is superb. Twelve amethyst cabochons alternate up and down on the leaf panels, with oxidized recesses making this a standout piece. It drapes over the wrist with a silky feel. A very fine piece of 1 ¾” long tubular green jade is the centerpiece of this high karat gold broach. The straps and vine design is enhanced by a moving and working rectangular bell on the bottom. The height of the broach is 7/8” including the bell.
